A Wolf Cub Pack may seem like an odd place to find junior planners, however, it is not when your Leader (Akela) is Ken R. Johnson, ACP, MCIP. Picking a community for the Pack to work on was a bit of challenge, but in the end, Akela chose the new aboriginal community of Natuashish in Labradour. The first part of the exercise was spent giving an explanation of the process used by professional planners, and the community infrastructure important to planning such as roads, buildings, green space. The Wolf Cub junior planners used marker pens to do their planning work. The imaginations of the Wolf Cub junior planners were very creative, and produced very interesting community plans. After the Wolf Cub junior planners finished their planning work, they were given the chance to explain what they did to the other members of the Pack.
