Poll Everywhere:My Polls

I have chosen to use poll everywhere as it encourages more people to vote as it is anonymous and easy to access online. Poll everywhere is an affective way to collect data. The results are instant and clear to understand through a bar graph of multiple choice questions or people can write in their own answers.

I presented this question on my poll to narrow down the most popular genre that a public audience would choose. I asked this question to help me narrow down what Genre my music magazine would bebased on. This helped me to reveal that RnB and Pop were the most popular genre’s amongst Rock and Indie.

The second question I featured on my poll was to find out what type of price range would the public pay for a music magazine. It was revealed that £2.00 - £2.50 was the most popular expenditure. By researching Kerrang which is sold at £2.20 and NME at £2.30 in the UK . These are sold as weekly issues at the socio economic class of E – C.

I wanted to ask the public what feature’s they would be most interested in within a magazine. The results revealed that interviews and new music and artists were the top of the list. I made the poll answerable by the public being able toanswer by their own comments. The results made me more aware of what types of features I should include within my magazine.

I included this question within my poll to identify what price I would label my magazine at. 100% of the poll voted that they would prefer a weekly issue rather than a monthly issue therefore this follows to the next question as to what price should the magazine be sold out and if my target audience could afford to buy the magazine every week.
