Lincoln  was  assassinated  150  years  ago—April  14,  1865.  On  this  anniversary  of  his  death,  we  are  invited  by  Walt  Whitman  to  meet  and  talk  about  Lincoln’s  death.  No  president  had  ever  been  killed  before;  no  one  believed  that  could  happen  here.  What  do  we  still  need  to  learn  from  and  about  this  event?  What  was  Whitman’s  invitation  to  us?  Please  join  us!
