Designing and production of power cable accessories, joints and terminations, has been the specialityof our company since 1981. Elcon Megarad focuses on customer-made designs to meet specific require-ments based on material, installation procedures, specifications and standards.

In this stage the kit is prepared and installed on the cable.Then, modified or approved according to results. In our H.V.laboratory it is possible to carry out testing according to anyIEC, CENELEC or IEEE standards.

Testing / Pruebas

Once, the accessory has passed the tests and has been appro-ved, the kit is assembled according to the bill of components.Number of components in a kit varies from a few items, inlow voltage cable accessories, to 30-40 items, for instance in36 kV three core armoured cable joint kits.
