Example
• PPS is a structured approach and offers standardized
methods to find the root cause(s) for any issue and to apply
the appropriate countermeasures to make sure that it does
not reoccur.
• For every kind of problem (technical/organizational).
• When a problem appears and root cause
analysis is required.
• In all Business functions defined by the
organization.
• Apply Practical Problem Solving Methodology (Airbus PPS, 8D/ 9S)
• Count on a network of SME (Subject Matter Expert) and PPS
facilitators.
• Transfer the problem to (other) teams if more skills are necessary.
• Escalate/ prioritize the problem to the hierarchy if decision is
needed.
