Pre-primary Activities 2018-19

Holi Festival Holi, the festival of colors was celebrated in Pre-Primary School on 22 nd March 2019. As a part of which, all children of Pre-Primary classes were dressed in color dresses. The importance of holi celebration was shared with children.

Annual Day Celebrations Parents and Grand Parents of Poornaprajna Education Centre, Indiranagar, witnessed the glitz and glamour of Annual Day celebration of the Pre-primary school on the theme, 'Panchatantra-Moral Stories' on February 27, 2019. Dr. Pallavi Joshi, M.B.B.S., M.S (Cornea & Refractive Surgeon) of Sankara Eye Hospital was the chief guest of the occasion. His Holiness Sri Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji (President, Udupi Sri Admar Mutt Education Council) showered his blessings by lighting the lamp. Other esteemed guests who embellish the event were Sri.R. Balasubramanian, (Mentor & Director of Sankara Eye Hospital), Sri. S.K. Bhat (Secretary, P.P.E.C., Indiranagar), our management committee members Sri. Brig.H.B. Hande & Dr. K.Sreenivasan,IPS along with our Principal Sri. K.S.N.Bhatt and Mrs.Nirmala Ganesh, Headmistress of Pre primary school. The cultural show began with the Welcome Song (Preenayamo Vasudevam...) followed by Geeta Chanting as well as Saraswathi Vandana by the Pre-primary students. The showcasing of Panchtantra-Moral stories and dance performances created a visual feast for the audience.

Food Grains Exhibition Food grains exhibition was held on 18 th January 2019. The chief guest of the day was Mrs.Poornima Suman Vattipalli, MBA, Certified Professional, Arts & Craft from Fevicryl - graced the occasion. Display of most varieties of food grains as well as junk food gave awareness about necessity of developing healthy food habits.

Vegetable Salad Day Celebration Vegetable salad day was celebrated in Pre-Primary School on Friday, the 21 st December 2018 to impart the importance of eating vegetable salad as healthy food. Salad was prepared in the presence of children and served them which they enjoyed well.

Vegetable Exhibition Vegetable Exhibition for Pre-Primary School was conducted on 6th December 2018. Chief Guest of the day was Mr & Mrs.Ravi Kiran, Business Entrepreneur and alumnus of our school inaugurated the exhibition and interacted with the children. 70 varieties of fresh vegetables were displayed to explain the nutritional value to the young children.

Sports Day Celebration The much awaited Annual Sports Day of Pre-Primary School was held on Saturday, the 1 st December 2018, with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way. The chief guest of the day Mr.Subrahmanya Bhat along with our Honorable Secretary Sri.S.K.Bhat, our Principal Sr.K.S.N.Bhatt and our Headmistress Mrs.Nirmala Ganesh declared Sports Meet open by passing the torch to the Prep.II kids and also releasing the colorful balloons. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes.

Prep – I & II Picnic on 23-11-2018

Preparatory I & II picnic to Dreamland Resort on 23 rd November 2018 was a fun packed day for kids as well as teachers. Bus travel, delicious food, attractive play areas, toy train ride, magic show etc.were the most attractive events of the day.

Children's Day Celebration on 14-11-2018 On the occasion of children's day celebration, Pre-primary teachers organized programs -song, skit, action song & dance -for children to celebrate the spirit of childhood in a fun-filled and stress free environment.

Kannada Rajyothsava Celebration on 5-11-2018 Kannada Rajyothsava day was celebrated on 5 th November 2018 to bring about awareness to the young children. Students from preparatory I & II came dressed as great leaders, poets & saints of Karnataka State.

Nursery Picnic on 31-10-2018 Picnic to Tulip Resort was held on 31-10-2018. It was an exciting experience for nursery kids. The most enjoyable time was in the play area as well as the magic show.

Dolls Exhibition on 25-10-2018 Dolls Exhibition on the eve of Dusshera Celebration was inauguratedby Dr. Anuradha.K.N KAS, State Controller, Legal Metrology Department. Children from preparatory I & II dressed the costume of Navadurga to commemorate the event . His Holiness Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji, President & His Holiness Eeshapriya Theertha Swamiji, Vice president of USAMEC graced the occasion and blessed the children.

Fruit Salad Day on 05-10-2018 The fruit salad day was organized on 5 th October 2018 to enable the tiny tots to learn the nutritious value of fruits. Delicious fruit salad was made in the class room and distributed to all the children and taught the importance of eating fruits and balanced diet. Children relished it along with their friends.

Sri Krishna Janmastami Celebrations on 03-09-2018 Sri Krishna Janmastami celebration was held on 03-09-2018 - a very precious day to remember the birth of Lord Sri Krishna. Children of Nursery came dressed as Krishna, Radha and Gopikas creating an atmosphere of Gokula.

Field Trip for Prep – II 31-08-2018 Preparatory II A & B kids had Field trip to Sapna Book House, Indiranagar on 31st August 2018, which was enlightening and opening a window to the fascinating world of books.

Raksha Bhandhana Celebrations Pre primary school celebrating Raksha Bhandhana a festival that strengthen the bond between brothers and sisters, the sisters tying Rakhi around their brothers wrist as a symbol of their love and in turn the brothers pledge to protect their sisters.

Prep I A Class Programme 21-08-2018 Preparatory I A class programme held on 21st August 2018 was colourful, patriotic and also imparting culture.

Independence Day Celebration 15-08-2018 Pre primary kids saluting India on our Independence day celebration with freedom in mind, faith in their words, pride in their heart and memories in their soul.

Prep I B Class Programme 10-08-2018 Preparatory I B class programme held on 10th August 2018 was entertaining, creative & informative about Mother Earth.

TALENTS SHOW 28-07-2018 Talents Show was held on 2nd and 3rd August, 2018 for Preparatory II (A & B). A variety of individual talents were displayed by the amazing kids.

Fruit Exhibition 28-07-2018 Fruit Exhibition was organized on 28th June 2018 and inaugurated by Dr.Molishree Soni, Yoga Instructor of our school. The display of variety of fruits brought by Nursery children along with the picture charts by Preparatory I & II was visual treat for parents and children.

Eye Screening for Pre-primary students 21/07/2018 Eye Screening was done by Shankara Eye Hospital, Marathhalli for all new entrants of Nursery, Prep- I & Prep – II ( A & B ). Most of them were found having good vision.

Educational field trip for Prep - I Students 17-07-2018 Children of Preparatory – I ( A & B) were taken to Post Office and food world for Educational field trip. Value learnt was about service of community helper ( Post man) Postal Service and about items available in a super market. Teachers purchased a fruit and sent it with children as take home product.

Staff Meeting 14/07/2018 Staff Meeting was held to schedule dates for activities and organizing talent show for Preparatory – II. Field Trip for Nursery 06/07/2018 Field Trip for Nursery ( A & B ) was conducted. Children were taught to sit on the floor and chant KrishnaNama. Value learnt was how to maintain silence and respect the rule followed in the temple premises.

Medical Examination 02/07/2018 & 03/07/2018 Medical Examination for all the children of all the classes were completed for Pre – Primary section, by school Medical Officer Dr.H R Kadam. Out of 243 students, only 2 children were absent. Very few were found having minor health issues. Parents were informed about their child's health condition and immunity.
