PreliminaryTask

IntroductionDuring this preliminary task, myself and other group members (Harry Edward and Holly Fairbairn) will

create a screenplay and storyboard that depicts our ‘What’s up Doc?’ scenario. With this scenario, we will produce a short preliminary video in order to practise production and editing skills. During this this task,

we will showcase new skills learned when thinking about framing and shot techniques.

We created a screenplay in order to better plan what will happen in the scenes. This will aid us in the production of this short video because it allows us to envision what the scene will look like by including a

slug line, scene direction and dialogue. It also includes character cues, allowing us to know who is speaking and when they should begin.

The storyboard contains images of the scenes and a visual of the shots and some editing techniques that we will use throughout the production of the preliminary task. It also contains the shot numbers and any

sounds that we will use, such as soundtracks to accompany a scene.
