PRENATAL Y O G A TEACHER TRAINING Amy completed her prenatal teacher training with Gurmukh, founder of the preeminent prenatal studio Golden Bridge Yoga in Los Angeles and author of Bountiful, Beautiful, Blissful. She received her doula training through the progressive and internationally recognized ToLabor organization. She created the outreach prenatal yoga program serving North- western Hospital’s ambulatory care patients and piloted the Yoga For Recovery BAMS program bringing prenatal yoga to expectant inmates at Cook County Jail. She serves as a volunteer at The Ronald McDonald House teaching yoga and meditation to families with children receiving treatment at Children’s Memorial Hospital. In addition to leading teacher train- ings, workshops and retreats, Amy teaches prenatal classes at Yogaview studio and private clients throughout Chicago. Katie completed her 85-hour prenatal yoga teacher training at Bloom Yoga Studio. She has studied consistently under Dee Davis and continues to value her mentorship. She teaches weekly public prenatal yoga classes at Tejas and Yogaview, and also teaches a unique class, prenatal yoga on a stability ball, at CocoonCare yoga studio. She created and leads a 25- hour prenatal yoga teacher training at Tejas, in addition to introductory prenatal yoga workshops and mom and baby yoga classes. Katie Co-Founded Unfold Yoga + Wellness, a Chicago based corporate wellness company. teaching prenatal yoga is a unique opportunity to serve and support pregnant women throughout their sacred birthing journey . This comprehensive 85-hour training will prepare you to safely and effectively teach yoga to expectant mothers during all stages of pregnancy and postpartum. We will explore how the practice of yoga empowers and educates pregnant women to feel their best physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Childbirth is also the birth of a mother. Teach your students the value of community, mindfulness, and innate intelligence as a path to a more positive birthing and mothering experience. requirements and application– Applicants are required to have a 200-hour yoga certification or at least 1 year of consistent yoga practice.

– To apply, please send us a letter (one page or less) stating your intention for participation, your background, and how long and with whom you have been practicing yoga.

– Please include your $500 deposit with your application. This deposit is not refundable unless your application is not accepted. – Full payment must be received one week before the beginning of the course.

No refunds will be given after that time.
