Online Training Modules

The second series will focus on ICD-10-PCS specific terminologies and ICD-10-CM coding guidelines. With your acquired knowledge and skills, you will experience hands-on functions and capabilities of the new coding system.

These training modules explore each root operation in ICD-10-PCS, as well as all coding guidelines in ICD-10-CM. A lecture and case studies are included in each module to reinforce learning.

Upon completion of the training modules, you will be prepared for the transition to ICD-10-CM/PCS. Your proficiency and competence will impact not only the forward movement of the new classification system but also the success of the health care industry at large.

Clarkson College gives you the option to choose one stand-alone module or choose and complete all modules in a series. To ensure you fully comprehend the steps and material presented in each module, we gladly offer one-on-one training with our certified ICD-10-CM/PCS instructors.

Preparing for ICD-10-CM/PCS

Clarkson College is pleased to offer various educational experiences to help you prepare for the new classification system. To make your training as practical and efficient as possible, we formed two distinct curricular series.

Online Review Modules

The first series includes 12 modules that cover medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, common disease processes and associated procedures. Having a strong foundation in these subjects will facilitate your transition to ICD-10-CM/PCS. A pretest, lecture, activities to reinforce learning and a post-test are included in each of the following modules.
