1) A prohibition ofwaiting at any timerestriction on both sidesof Mount Way,Chepstow. Thisrestriction is proposedin order to preventindiscriminate andobstructive parking.

2) A prohibition ofdriving (except foraccess) restriction, thiswill reduce nonresidential vehicles fromaccessing the street.

NOTICE IS HEREBYGIVEN that on 7thMarch 2016MONMOUTHSHIRECOUNTY COUNCILmade an Order underS14 of the Road TrafficRegulation Act 1984.The order wasproposed to facilitatewater main improvementworks. The effect of theorder closed the R134Carrow Road, CarrowHill, Caerwent.

Diversion: Travel in aWesterly direction alongthe R134 until itsjunction with the R133.Travel in a Northerlydirection along theR133 until its junctionwith the A48. Travel inan Easterly directionalong the A48 until itsjunction with the C97.1.Travel in a SouthEasterly direction alongthe C97.1 until itsjunction with the R134.Travel in a Westerlydirection along theR134 and vice versa.

The Order came intoforce on the 7th March2016 until no later thanthe 24th April 2016.

By virtue of Section16(1) of the Road TrafficRegulation Act 1984 aperson whocontravenes, or whouses or permits the useof a vehicle incontravention of, arestriction or prohibitionimposed under Section14 of the Act shall beguilty of an offence.
