Notice is hereby given that the County Borough

Council of Torfaen in exercise of their powers under

the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

intend not less than seven days from the date of this

Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be

t o prohibit pe de strians and c y clist s from

proceeding along:-

Re st ric t ed By -W ay (RB) No. 2 Roge rst one

Community from its junction with the Unclassified

County Road (UCR) and running in a north easterly

direction for approximately 50 metres to its junction

with RB’s No. 3 and 4.

RB No.3 Rogerstone Community from its junction

with RB’s No.2 and 4, and running in a north

easterly direction for approximately 140 metres to

its junction with the County Boundary and Public

Footpath (FP) No.42.

RB No.4 Rogerstone Community from its junction

with RB’s No.2 and 3, and running in an easterly

direction for approximately 120 metres to its

 junction with the County Boundary and FP No.38.

FP No.38 Henllys Community from its junction with

RB No.4 and running in a north easterly direction

f or a pp ro xi ma te ly 5 20 m et re s t o i ts

 junctio n with the UCR.

FP No.42 Henllys Community from its junction with

RB No.3 and running in a north easterly direction

for approximately 450 metres

to its junction with the UCR.

There are alternative routes along other Rights of

Way and UCR’s are available.

The prohibition is necessary because of the

li ke li ho od o f d ang er to t he pu bl ic .

The proposed order will come into operation on 15

July 2015 and will continue in force for a period of

6 months, or until the works have been completed,

whichever is the sooner.
