Teacher Support

The flexibility of the course allows you

to deliver it without a negative impact

on curriculum time.

• The first part of the presentation

is designed to be delivered to whole

group (15-20 minute slot) by the

teacher – this could also be done

by a Teaching Assistant with

small groups.

• The second part of the presentation

(tracked activities/puzzles etc) could

be done by the whole class in an ICT

room or individually by one student

at a time throughout the week.

Reports and Assessment without levels

The students follow a Portfolio and Passport of can do statements linked to language

and grammar skills will support transition to Secondary school.

Resource Packs

Each Resource Pack contains 3 Modules

(allowing for 1 per term). Each Module

contains about 10 lessons which are

designed to be relevant, engaging and fun

and allow for real progress to be made.

Each lesson guides the pupil (and teacher!)

through the objectives

Delivery

A lesson equates to one week’s work and

could be delivered in one 30-40 minute

session or in two 15-20 minute sessions.

Each lesson has a range of activities to

support learning and are designed so

they can be delivered by non-specialists or

could be accessed independently by pupils.
