We foil print on to our acetate satin ribbon, this uses a metal plate to heat transfer the print designfrom a foil film to the ribbon. Foil printing is best for achieving defined colours and also gives excellentresults with metallics foils.

The print on Grosgrain ribbon is a raised effect known as French Raised Print. This is a high quality print that shows the image beautifully. A laser engraved print roller is used to produce this effect.

Your Logo / ArtworkOur File Requirements For Print

For best printing results we require your logo in a vector format. This will ideally be an Adobe Illustrator file with the file type of .ai, .eps or .pdf. All files need to be supplied at a minimum of 300 DPI (dots per inch) or higher. Files provided in any other format will require our Art Department to make changes and could incur a minimum charge of £20 + VAT.

Please note that images and jpeg files saved as an .eps or .pdf are not vector files and are not accepted. If you need your logo re-created our Art Department charge a rate of £20 + VAT per 30 minutes needed to rectify any issues. All files we re-work will be sent back to you in vector format for your future use.

Please ensure all fonts are outlines to avoid changes from computer to computer. Alternatively please attach any fonts with your logo, we will not use any of your fonts commercially, only for your logo.

At Tiny Box Company we can help you design a logo, we are happy to help. Logo design work will cost a minimum of £20 + VAT, we will supply you with all logo files for future use.

Please specify what colour foil you would like your logo to be printed, we cannot match Pantone, CMYK or RGB references. We have a wide ranges of foil colours so we can get a close match, however it will not be an exact match. Vector vs. PixelsTo see if your file is in the correct format, zoom into your file at over 2000%. You should see nice sharp crisp lines if a vector file. If the file is not in vector format you will see fuzzy, distorted and even discoloured lines around the edges of the file. We need vector files with nice sharp lines and edges to create a high quality print on the ribbon.
