TAROCCO Nucellare
Orange peel with some red parts.The pulp is soft, seedless, fragrant, and streaked with red. This orange is particularly suitable for consumption at the table and for the production of juices.

CLEMEN RUBY Clementine
Seedless juicy clementine.This citrus fruit is very similar to the tangerine but differs in the colour of the pulp which is much more orange and is always perfectly round.
CARA CARA Navel
Similar to a Navel orange, but with pinktinged flesh. Contains lycopene (the same phytochemical nutrient present in tomatoes) which gives the pulp its pinkish color.Easy to peel and section; seedless.
TACLE & ALKANTARA
This fruit is a hybrid between a Tarocco Nucellare and a Clementine.Easy to peel and section; seedless.

Plaform 30 x 50 or wood boxes for citrus are our mostly supplied packaging.

Il Sole di Distefano is located on the east coast of Sicily, near the foot of the Mount Etna. The company capitalises with the benefits of a special micro-climate of its own, thanks to its unique geographical location in a hilly landscape 150-300 meters above sea level, not exposed to icing, between the Mediterranean-Ionian sea waters and the volcanic soil fromMount Etna.
A great characteristic of Il Sole di Distefano is its astonishing view of Mount Etna, to the North, and the Ionian Sea, to the East; from which it receives the benefits of the East and North winds, bringing with them the privilege of the first raining showers, from the East, at the end of summer and beginning of autumn, indispensable for the precocious maturation of the orchards; and the first cold winds, from the North, necessary for the fruiting of the trees.
