I looked at a series of websites to find appropriate professional photography that I could use in my magazine. This is because: I need to have lots of options for what to

use in the magazine. I need to have plenty of variety that helps

to represent my music scene accurately.

I like this one because it is very interesting to look at and conveys the personalities of the group clearly.

It could be used for an album cover because of its simplicity.

It would influence the design of the page by forcing all the text to be around the picture.

It might have been created by lying the group down on the floor and using a aerial shot to create the illusion of the group standing upwards.

I like this one because the lighting creates a dark effect that symbolises rock or heavy metal.

It could be used for a contents page because of the space the background creates

It would influence the design of the page by giving off a darker atmosphere

It might have been created by using a kind of ‘sepia’ effect.

I like this one because the lighting and background create a lively atmosphere

It could be used for a contents page because there is a lot of space around the main focus of the picture.

It would influence the design of the page by a festival atmosphere.

It might have been created by focusing only on and around the girl at the forefront of the picture.

I like this one because it creates a light, relaxing effect with the indirect mode of address giving an emotional feel to the picture.

It could be used for a double page spread because of the area around the main focus.

It would influence the design of the page by forcing all the writing to be on the left hand side.

It might have been created by a street shot with controlled lighting.
