Saltash Enterprises Limited Formed in 1986, Saltash still retains the dedicated work ethic that its Directors, Richard Raymond and Peter Gibbons, adopted when they created the company.

Saltash is a specialist contractor that predominantly serves:

Planned maintenance Over 11.5 million homes (a third of all homes within the social housing sector) fail to meet the government’s Decent Homes benchmark.

Saltash has been actively involved in a number of initiatives with social landlords to improve their housing stock to bring it up to and beyond the Decent Homes standard.

Consequently, we have been awarded a significant number of high-value ‘Repair and Replacement’ contracts for social housing landlords within the greater London area.

Services also provided:

• Kitchens and bathrooms

• Doors

• Roofing plus other miscellaneous construction and remedial work to community areas

Responsive repairs & maintenance Saltash know that an understanding, responsive repairs service really ‘tugs at the heart strings’ of social housing residents. It is a key element in their attitude to contractors and ultimately to the housing owners.

Having a long history of successful repairs contracts with local authorities and social housing providers, Saltash has developed innovative approaches and service levels for this category of work which are rarely challenged.

Our philosophy is that the residents’ satisfaction levels dictate the benchmarks of our performance. In addition to the quality of the repairs, we monitor the following factors on all key contracts:

24 hour calll centre In addition to the technical team, Saltash is proud of its in-house 24-hour call centre which is able to provide responses within two hours for critical jobs, 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. It brings real meaning to the phrase ‘24/7 service’.

Recently, Saltash has introduced Electric Job Allocation (EJA), via PDA technology. This provides substantial bottom line cost savings to clients and benefits operatives with a fast and modern administration system.

Disabled aids & adaptions The process of installing facilities to meet the demands of disabled, aged and other vulnerable members of society requires a high degree of understanding, sympathetic planning and considerate implementation.

Saltash’s Disabled Aids and Adaptions Division, a mature business in its own right, covers:

• Remodelling properties including extensions and en-suite bathrooms

• Level access shower formations

• Ramp installations

• Stair lifts

• Handrails and many other specialist adaptions

Saltash offers over 15 years of experience in the aids and adaptions field, with over 70% of all orders being repeat business. It is this statistic that strongly supports our claim to be one of the outstanding contractors in the south east of England for this type of specialist and sensitive work.
