Inserting Your Program Map into the PCG

Once you’ve created your program map in Microsoft PowerPoint, you will need to turn it into an image that can be inserted into the PCG (a Word document).

To do so, you will need to follow these steps:

1. Save your program map PowerPoint slide to your files as a PDF

2. Then save the PDF as a jpeg

3. Go to your PCG and delete the blank program map from page 2

4. Click on the “Insert” tab on the toolbar at the top of the screen and select “Picture”

5. From your files, select the jpeg of your Program Map

6. Once your map is in the PCG, you can rotate it and adjust its size and position to fit it to the page.

If you need any help with any of these steps, please contact your Instructional Associate at the Centre for Instructional Development.
