    PROJECT GUIDELINES (Students)

    End term Project is one of the important components of the MBA program and in this context someguidelines regarding project work have been established to ensure that the project by the student isauthentic and is of high quality. One of the important stipulations regarding project for MBA is that thecandidate is to undertake a project in the chosen specialization. The projects will be reviewed, monitoredand tracked by the Project Supervisor and the Review Committee member.

    I ntr oduction l etter s for the students is avail able with M rs. Taj, f rom 24 th December 2013onwards.

    The reviews and the evaluati on are compulsory Project Supervisor f or each student has been al lotted and displayed in the notice board.

    Students shal l meet the concerned supervisor on or before 18 th December 2013 to fi nal izewith the tentative project topic.

    There wil l be a Project Review Committee for each student who wil l be conducti ng theper iodic r eviews. Al l the facul ty members are review committee members. The reviewschedul e is given for your reference.

    Each student i s expected to submi t one har d copy of ful l r eport, one hard copy of synopsis& one soft copy (CD) of th e Project Report at the end.

    The f ormat and contents of th e report should be str ictl y fol lowed.

    Review Schedule :

    Review Date Criteria (for mark allocation)

    First Review (10 marks) Feb 20 th and 21 st 2014

    Approval of Project Topic by the company andsupervisor.

    Mid Review (30 marks) March 20 th and 21 st 2014

    Report on - Need for project- Objectives and scope- Hypothesis- Review of Literature- Methodology

    Final Review (60 marks) April 24 th and 25 th 2014

    - Viva Voce (30 marks)- Project Report (30 marks)

    The functions of the committee include Providing appropriate counseling, advice and suggestions to all students undertaking project work

    regarding project area and in general helping the project coordinators in project related activities. Conducting at least three reviews and evaluating the progress of the project students. Ensuring that the student has incorporated all suggested improvements and suggestions in their

    project work. Checking the content and format of project report as per the norms.

    Preparation of Project ReportThe following should be the contents of the report:
