Exterior photosPlease avoid:

• Yard at the dairy shed before washdown

• Laneway with potholes, mud or weeds

• Fence lines which are in poor condition

• Gates which aren’t hung correctly or swinging

• Paddocks - avoid weeds

• Troughs are surrounded by mud

• Muddy photos in general including stock standing in mud

• Snow on the ground

• Overcast days – try to get blue sky in all photos

• Derelict farm building and old houses

• Unfenced waterways

• Stock standing in waterways

• Staff houses – avoid overgrown gardens, washing on lines, vehicles in driveways

Key features to photographIn addition to drone photography and paddock shots try to get some variety by including the following.

• Milking plant

• Water supply/pump shed

• Effluent pond

• Yards

• Barns and sheds

• Home - internal and external

Interior photosPolitely make suggestion to:

• Open blinds/window treatments

• Remove shoes from the front/back door

• Close garage doors

• Remove vehicles from driveways

• Remove any cobwebs

• Remove hoses from the lawn

• Remove toys, balls etc. inside and out

• Remove rubbish bins

• Remove clutter from surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom

• Remove magnets from the fridge

• Close wardrobe doors

• Remove pet bowls and toys

Be proactive around the farm in a polite way, remove any rubbish around sheds including bale wrap and twine.When sheds are cluttered, close doors and just take external shots if possible.
