viewed as a revelation of divine will.b. A prediction of the future, made under divine inspiration.c. Such an inspired message or prediction transmitted orally or in writing.

Why Study Prophecy?1. Bring people to the Love of God.2. Those who know God, to bring them
to a closer understanding of the Love of God.
3. To understand what the future holds for our walk with God and this world.
Methods of Prophetic study Preterism
Comes from Latin “praeter” means past The belief is that all Biblical prophecy was
fulfilled in the 1st Century. Futurism
Is the view that all prophecy both literally, physically, globally and apocalyptically will be fulfilled sometime in the future
Historicism Where the prophecies start with the time of
the Prophet but ends and focuses on the time of the end.
