SEATS IN PRIVATE UN–AIDED NON–MINORITY, MINORITY MEDICAL AND NON-MINORITY

DENTAL COLLEGES AND ARMY DENTAL COLLEGE IN THE STATE OF TELANGANA FOR THE

ACADEMIC YEAR 2018-19

A. Regulations:

i) The following are the Regulations for admission of students into Management

Quota (Category -B and Category -C (NRI) ) MBBS / BDS Courses in Private Un –

Aided Non – Minority, Minority Medical and Non - Minority Dental Colleges and

Army Dental College in the state of Telangana for the year 2018-19.

ii) The candidate should have qualified in NEET UG - 2018 exam by securing marks of

cut off score and above.

iii) NEET UG - 2018 merit ranks shall be the basis for the selection into MBBS and BDS

Courses subject to these regulations.

iv) Total number of seats under Management quota expected for the academic

year 2018-19 for Medical / Dental Courses in Private Medical Dental Colleges

and Army Dental College is given in the Annexure-I.

v) Tuition Fee structure is as fixed by the State Government.

vi) In case any new MBBS/BDS seats are permitted by MCI/DCI in private

Medical and Dental colleges affiliated to the University for the Academic

Year 2018-19, those seats also will be filled up. NO FURTHER

NOTIFICATION WILL BE ISSUED.

vii) Seats in Army Dental College are reserved for Army wards as per AWES

Regulations.

viii) Seats in Un-aided Minority Medical Colleges are reserved for Muslim

Minority Candidates only. In case Muslim Minority Candidates are not

available the seats may be filled up with Non-Minority students up to

maximum of 30% during 2nd Phase of counseling.

B. Eligibility:

i. Candidates from all over the country are eligible for admission into Management

quota seats Category -B and C (NRI) for UG Medical and Dental Courses and as per

Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India / KNR University of Health

Sciences.

ii) The candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or its

equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) /

Biotechnology and English.

• OC candidates should obtain not less than 50% marks in science

subjects.

• BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% marks

in science subjects.

• OC PH candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in science

subjects.

BDS courses and they fulfill other relevant conditions laid down in these regulations as per Medical

Council of India / Dental Council of India guidelines.

iii) Candidates should have qualified at NEET UG - 2018

iv) The candidates should secure the following cut-off scores in

NEET UG-2018conducted by CBSE, New Delhi for the year 2018-19.

v) Lower percentage / percentile of marks for SC/ST/BC/PH is only for eligibility purpose and will not be

applicable for reservation as there are no reservation quotas for these categories.

viii) Foreign Students / NRI candidates are eligible for admission into MBBS and BDS Courses under

Management Quota Category – C Seats. Candidates should specifically put the option for NRI Category

in the on-line application to be considered for NRI / C-Category.

ix) *Candidates who have already applied for Convenor Quota Seats in response to this University

earlier notification are also eligible for the management quota seats, but they have to apply afresh.

x) Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution outside the Telangana

State should submit Eligibility / Equivalence certificate from the Board of Intermediate Education of

Telangana, to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate

examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana at the time of

admission into the college.

xi) Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution outside INDIA should

submit Eligibility / Equivalence certificate issued by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi

and Eligibility / Equivalence certificate issued from the Board of Intermediate Education of

Telangana to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate

examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana at the time of

admission into the college.

xii) The probable number of seats under management quota is given in the Annexure appended

herewith, for information.

C. AGE: The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2018.

The candidates who do not complete 17 years as on 31-12-2018 need not attend

the counseling. The candidates born on or after 02-01-2002 are not eligible for

admission into MBBS/BDS Courses.

D. NRI Quota eligibility :

i) Admission to NRI seats will be made on the basis of NEET- 2018 merit

ranks of eligible candidates who have applied on-line for NRI seats.

ii) NRI Financially supporting the candidate must be a Blood relative

such as Father/Mother/Brother/Sister/Uncle/Aunt only and should

submit a declaration to that effect.

iii) Candidate opting for NRI seat must furnish the photocopies of

following supporting documents.

1 NRI status certificate of the financial supporter issued by embassy of

respective country under their seal.

2) Copy of NRI Bank account pass book of the financial supporter.

3) Copy of Pass port of NRI financial supporter.

Note: a) If, enough number of NRI candidates are not available, the left over seats of NRI Category may be

filled-up with other candidates during the second phase of counseling.

b) If a candidate is found to have submitted false information or concealed any relevant information

regarding this matter, such candidate is liable to be disqualified for admission and in case already

admitted, the admission will be

cancelled. Further disciplinary action against him/her will be taken by the University.

E. Counselling for allotment of Seats:

1. The seats shall be filled through counseling by the Committee for Admissions as per merit from the

candidates who have qualified in NEET UG – 2018 exam and applied in response to notification by

KNR UHS for Management quota seats ( B&C Categories).

ii. The Date, Time and Venue of Counselling will be notified by the Committee for Admissions on

KNR UHS web-site.

iii. The candidates shall be present when called in the order of rank/merit.

iv. If a candidate fails to be present he will be declared absent and the next candidate in the merit will

be considered.

v. The candidates shall attend the counseling in person along with parent/guardian.

vi. The candidates shall attend with all Original Certificates and DD towards University Fee in favor of

Registrar, KNRUHS, payable at Warangal. Custodian certificate will not be permitted.

vii. Candidates who fail to produce or to submit original certificates or D.D. towards University fee,

he/she will not be considered for counseling. Such Candidates will be declared absent and the

next candidate in the merit will be considered.

viii. If a candidate after admission in to a College wants to withdraw from the course, before

commencement of second counseling he / she should obtain "No Objection Certificate from the Principal

of the college concerned and shall submit the same to the convener, committee of admissions for

cancellation of seat. Approval of committee is mandatory for candidate to withdraw from thecourse.

ix. Vacant seats after first round of counseling will be filled up in subsequent rounds of counseling. The

Date, Time and Venue of Counseling will be notified by the Committee for Admissions on KNR

UHS web-site.

x. Candidates are hereby informed that they have to join the course by submission of all Original

Certificates, DD for tuition fee in favor of Principal of allotted college, Bond to complete the process

of admission within the stipulated date.

F. Penal action :

i. If the candidate withdraws from the course after Closure of Admission of

Management Quota Seats to a College, he /she will forfeit the tuition fee paid

for that academic year and has to pay the tuition fee for the rest of the course,

along with discontinuation fee of Rs. 3-Lakhs to University as mentioned in

G.O.114 HM&FW(C1) Dept. Dated: 5-7-2017.

ii. The candidate selected in the final counseling will not be permitted to cancel

the selection. All the selected candidates shall submit an undertaking that he /

she will pay the tuition fee for the entire course along with discontinuation

fee of Rs. 3-Lakhs to University as mentioned in G.O.114 HM&FW(C1) Dept.

Dated: 5-7-2017. Candidates will also be debarred for three years from

admissions in to same course in colleges under KNRUHS to avoid wastage of

seats.

iii. Candidates will not be permitted to withdraw from the course after notification

for final phase of counseling is issued. Candidates have to pay discontinuation

fee of Rs.3,00,000/- ( Rupees Three Lakhs only ) to the University and will also

be debarred for three years from admissions in to same course in colleges under

KNRUHS.

iv. The Original Certificates submitted by the candidates or who withdraws from

the Course, before issue of notification for final round of counseling, will be

returned.

Fee Structure:

i) University Fee:The selected candidates shall pay non – refundable University fee of in the form of crossed

Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Registrar, KNR University of Health Sciences” payable at Warangal, as

given below.

ii) Tuition fee : As fixed by the Government of Telangana.

Note –1: The candidates selected against Management Quota Category-B & C (NRI Quota) Seats shall

pay the tuition fee fixed for management Quota seat on the day of reporting in the form of

Demand Draft in the name of the Principal of the respective college on the day of admission

to the college. If the candidate fails to pay the tuition fee within the time of joining, the

admission will be cancelled automatically.

Iii). Registration and Processing fee is Rs. 5000/- ( Rupees Five Thousands only ) Bank transaction

charges extra.

Note: Candidates are informed that they have to attend for counseling with DD towards the university

fee on the day of selection / counseling and on allotment should submit the DD and obtain

allotment letter. If the candidate does not attend the counseling with Original Certificates and

DD towards the university fee he/she will not be permitted for on-line counseling. Candidates

have to pay the tuition fee at the time of admission at respective colleges. If the candidate fails to

pay the tuition fee at the concerned college within stipulated time the admission will be

cancelled automatically. 6.

The selected candidates shall submit bank guarantee for remaining period of

study.

II. On-line Application Form:

The On-line Application Form for determining merit position in respective categories for

management quota seats using NEET UG – 2018 scores will be available on the website

www.knruhs.in and https://tspvtmedadm.tsche.in from 9.00 AM on 30.06.2018 up to 6.00 PM on

05.07.2018.

The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with the data required-for,

through internet. The online application form can be filled through any computer with internet connection

(home/internet cafe/net center). The candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going

through the Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates ready to enter his/her correct data.

Candidate should clearly specify in the on-line application whether he is opting for B-Category or C-

Category or both B & C Categories of Management Quota.

III. Procedure of filling online application and Procedure for online payment:

1. The candidates are advised to take a print out of the Prospectus / Instructions to fill the Application from

the website www.knruhs.in and https://tspvtmedadm.tsche.in before proceeding to fill the application

form.

2. Read the Notification, Prospectus / Regulations carefully.

3. Visit website https://tspvtmedadm.tsche.in through Internet Explorer 11 version only to fill the application

form.

3. Keep all the following documents required:

i. NEET – UG 2018 Admit card issued by the CBSE.

ii. NEET – UG 2018 Score card issued by the CBSE.

iii. Date of Birth Certificate. (SSC or its equivalent certificate).

iv. Credit card / Debitcard.

1 The fee can be paid through Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking.

2 The fee paid by the applicants is not refundable and not adjusted to a future date under any circumstances.

3 The candidate should sign at the declaration area in the print out of the online application form.

7. The candidate should paste a passport size photograph which is similar to that applied for NEET-

UG 2018 in the space provided in the print out of online application form and submit at the time

of original certificates verification and Counselling.

8. The candidate should submit the print-out of the filled - in online application form along with

one set of attested copies of required certificates at Prof. Ramreddy centre for distance

education, O.U. Campus, Hyderabad. ( PGRRCDE) the at the time of original certificates

verification and counseling.

9. The candidature of the applicant will not be considered for admission to MBBS and BDS Courses

unless the print-out application form along with the requisite enclosures is submitted at the time

of verification of original certificates and counselling.

IV. PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORM FOR DETERMINATION OF MERIT POSITION:

Open the website https://tspvtmedadm.tsche.in Home page displayed as follows.

1. Click on the Online Registration.

2. Registration Form appears in which Candidate has to give the details to register.

3. After entering the details click on validate button.

4. If all the details you entered is correct, You will receive the Registration number. Please Note the Registration

number for further correspondence and click OK

5. Then enter Testing Id and the Registration number for updating the details of the candidate and click on

Validate Button.

6. The application form will be displayed as shown below

7. After filling the form, click on Save and Exit Button. This process can be repeated till all the data you

entered is correct. Then click on Save and Pay Button to proceed for payment. Depending on your caste

category, the Registration fee is varied. Once paid you will not get any refund. Hence, you are request ed to double

check the eligibility conditions yourself and pay the fee.

8. Now you will be directed to the Payment Gateway click OK

9. Select you mode of payment and Make Payment

10. After payment you will receive a Successful Payment message

12. Click OK Button. You will get your filled application form take printout of this form and affix a recent passport size

photo on the space provided and submit the form at the time of certificate verification.

Do's and Don'ts

Do not use mobiles and tablets to Apply. Use only computers.

Do not select or enter false information which can be liable for Criminal Action.

Avoid using slow internet facility.

Keep your mobile with you while applying and do not block SMS.

V. Powers of the Admission Committee:

The Admission Committee shall have the power to revise its decision in any case and

to direct the Principal concerned to take further action either to select or to cancel

the selection, or to admit or cancel the admission before the closure of admissions.

Selections shall not be questioned after closure of admissions.

VI. The Regulations of KNR University of Health Sciences are applicable with regard to

break of study, cancellation and re-admission.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES ABOUT COUNSELING FOR MBBS & BDS COURSES .

The candidates shall attend the counselling with the following original certificates

(1) Original NEET – UG 2018 Admit card issued by the CBSE

(2) Original NEET – UG 2018 Score card issued by the CBSE

(3) SSC certificate or Equivalent Examination showing the Date of Birth of the Candidate.

(4) Intermediate or its equivalent examination with 10+2 pattern.

(5) Declaration (Annexure-1) on White Paper signed by both the candidate and NRI

alongwith evidential documents such as Green Card/Citizenship Card/Bank

Statements/Pass-port of the respective Country/Electricity Bill etc., if candidates opting

for Management Quota Category C (NRI Quota) Seats in Un-aided Non-Minority,

Minority Medical and Dental Colleges (The declaration on Rs.10/- stamp paper is to

be submitted after closure of admissions at respective college)

(6) Permanent Caste Certificate, if applicable.( For cutoff score eligibility)

(7) Minority Certificate issued by the concerned authority.

(8) Differently abled (PH) Certificate, if applicable.(for cutoff score eligibility)

(9) The candidates are advised to visit the website i.e., www.knruhs.in for further details

such as cut off scores in the NEET, Submission of Marks List of Qualifying

Examination, Merit List and Counselling Schedule etc.

(10) As the number of seats available for admission are limited and there will be more

number of applicants, it may not be possible to process all the candidates during

counseling. Candidates will be allowed for counseling as per their rank in the provisional

merit list of KNR UHS based on applied candidates NEET ranks. Once the seats are

filled up the remaining candidates will not be permitted in to the counseling hall.

(11) Demand Draft towards University fee in favor of Registrar, KNRUHS, payable at

Warangal.

Government of India / Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India.

NOTE: In case any new Medical Colleges or Dental Colleges are affiliated to the

University/any college is permitted by the Govt. of India for the academic year 2018-

19, the seats in those colleges also will be filled up. If any colleges listed above are not

permitted by Government of India for the year 2018-19 the seats in that college will

not be filled.
