PT. Pupuk Kalimantan Timur (Pupuk Kaltim), the largest Urea and Ammo-nia manufacturer in Indonesia with annual production capacity of 2.98 million tons of Urea, 1.85 million tons of Ammonia, and 500 thousands tons of compound fertilizers, is ex-panding their plant.

As part of the larger Kaltim-5 Project, PT. JEL is awarded with the 103,066 db of piping work for Urea Area by PT. Inti Karya Persada Tehnik (IKPT), a Toyo Engineering Corporation sub-sidiary, an EPC Contractor for this Kaltim-5 project.

Total of 103,066 diameter-inch of piping work is scheduled to be completed within 13 months

PT. Indolampung Distillery, a subsidiary of PT. Gula Putih Mataran, part of the Sugar Group Companies, is con-structing their Export Grade Al-cohol (EGRA) facility.

PT. JEL is awarded with construc-tion contract which covers Civil and Steel Structure Works and Mechanical Equipment and Pip-ing Works.

The Civil works had started since last December 2012 while the

Steel Structure Fabrication works is cur-rently ongoing at PT. JEL’s Anyer Fabrica-tion Shop (formerly fabrication shop for PT. JEL NSI 2 AA Plant Piping Work Pro-ject).

The EGRA facility is scheduled to be ready for commercial operation this year on June 2013.

This is the first PT. JEL’s project in sugar refinery sector.

PT. JEL have started to mobilize their personnel and begins to setup temporary facilities for our Patuha Geothermal Project this month.

This will be PT. JEL and JEL first geothermal project in Indone-sia.

The challenges for this project are not only the works itself

but also the terrain condition, the weather especially.

When in heavy fog which could happen at 2 pm in the after-noon the visibility can be re-duced to only 3 meters.

The cold weather also posed big challenge for our team there.

PT. Jurong Engineering Lestari had almost completed the mechanical construction works of OX4300 2AA Plant piping works at PT. Nippon Shokubai Indonesia.

The project is located in Cilegon, West Java and total of equivalent to 149,990 diameter-inch of piping works including fabrication, erection, and testing was successfully com-pleted.

This 2AA plant is scheduled for commercial operation at the end of March this year.

When this project is com-pleted it will mark the book of success story for PT. Ju-rong Engineering Lestari in the piping construction work. In this country.
