Description and application

ThedigitalratiopyrometerPYROSPOTDSR54Nisspecificallydesi-gnedforindustrialpurposes.Thisdevicesaresuitablefornon-con-tacttemperaturemeasurementfrom500°Condifferentsurfaceslikemetal,graphiteorceramics.Itmeasurestheinfraredradiationintwoadjacentwavelengthsanddeterminestherefromthetem-peraturevalue.

Thesolidandcompactstainlesssteelhousingallowsusageevenunderroughenvironmentalconditions.Measuringspotsizesfrom3.5mmforthePYROSPOTDSR54Ncanbeeasilyrealized.Withaminimalresponsetimeofonly5ms(t95)thedevicesareusableforfastmeasuringtasks.

Thetemperaturelinearstandardoutputsignalof0/4to20mAallowsaneasyimplementationinexistingmeasurementandcontrolsystems.

Use theoptional integrated red laser aiming light for the exactaimingofthepyrometertothemeasurementobject.Theoptionalintegrated video cameramodule (DSR 54NV) provides an anti-glareaimingofthepyrometerevenwhenthemeasurementobjectisveryhot.Itsubstantiallyfacilitatestheadjustmentunderdifficultlocalconditionswherethepyrometerisnoteasytoreachorthemeasurementobjectcannotbeseendirectly.

ThePYROSPOTDSR54NpossessesaRS-485 interface.Thede-vices are bus-compatible in thisway and use theModbus RTUprotocol.

YoucanconnectthepyrometerviaanoptionallyavailableinterfaceadaptorRS-485toUSBwithaPC.ConnectthepyrometertoaPCtoadjusttheparametersratiocorrection,emissivity,subtemperaturerange,datastoragesettingsandresponsetimetotheapplicationbyusingthecomfortableparameterizingandevaluationsoftwarePYROSOFTSpot.
