Audience feedback has helped me to structure my work around the target audience. From using audience questionnaires throughout my planning I had the ability to shape my ideas to the viewers as they gave me information on what they liked and disliked in regards to camerawork, editing, sound and mise-en-scene. This meant that I was able to eliminate certain dislikes throughout the stages to make an overall appealing production.

By having to gather different audience feedback on a variety of different technologies it means that I have learnt how to use these products effectively on gathering and displaying it clearly. Also by using audience feedback on a padlet rather than questionnaire meant that I had a quicker and easier way to gather my information to which I could quickly adapt to my work.

Audience feedback has helped me to make my main tasks and ancillary tasks more conventional, not only for the genre but for the form. This is because I received feedback on making my coverlines more specific – therefore reinforcing the idea that I have to target the audience of the magazine, not just the preferred audience of the genre. Therefore, I have learnt how to broaden my target audience by using conventions for both the genre and form of product.

Audience feedback has also taught me how to be organised with my work. This is because I had to use audience feedback frequently throughout the stages. This meant that I was able to keep my focus on my work and checked up on my work more often than usual so I met expectations of this task and made my production successful.
