My QQC It’s really difficult to talk about any one particular striking thing about the book. Each and every page is inspiring. The culture which the author has developed in his school is worth appreciating. I was able to connect to the movie 3 idiots which says that “Bhantar is important, but gantar is more important.” What helps us in real life is not any bookish talks or theoretical knowledge, but the skills, which is the ladder to success. After reading the book, I got an insight that as teachers we try our best to serve our students but it’s not only we who need to put in efforts. A culture of excellence can be built with the support of the entire community. Besides that the culture of the school needs to be strong rather than any individual. All should talk same language and put in an extra mile to change the system. The strong inspiration that provoked me is to construct the habit of giving true and critical feedback to my students, teach them how to give it and use it with my peers or colleagues. While reading the book, I got many connections and was able to reflect deeply. I initially felt that we should bring the awareness within our school that we need to build a culture, not only to teach but develop a system wherein each and every students becomes responsible for the community and has a vision to do something for the society as there are 3 things that plays a major role in a student’s career and those are family, neighbourhood and the school. We need to make them good citizens and that can happen if they are exposed to the idea of how to build good ethics. We should reduce our stress on quantity rather than quality. We should set the habit to document students work for evidence, give them constructive and critical feedback, allow them to undergo multiple drafts, work more on the quality of their work rather than the quantity, use students portfolios for future use, provide them models to get inspired and be creative in their ideas. The thing that amazed me while reading the epic was the presentation done by the kids while presenting their portfolio. The way they have multiple drafts and the confidence they show while discussing it by disclosing their struggle and achievements is worth appreciating. I wish each and every student undergoes this process and show excellence in whatever they do.

My QQC

It’s really difficult to talk about any one particular striking thing about the book. Each and every page

is inspiring. The culture which the author has developed in his school is worth appreciating. I was

able to connect to the movie 3 idiots which says that “Bhantar is important, but gantar is more

important.” What helps us in real life is not any bookish talks or theoretical knowledge, but the

skills, which is the ladder to success.

After reading the book, I got an insight that as teachers we try our best to serve our students

but it’s not only we who need to put in efforts. A culture of excellence can be built with the support

of the entire community. Besides that the culture of the school needs to be strong rather than any

individual. All should talk same language and put in an extra mile to change the system.

The strong inspiration that provoked me is to construct the habit of giving true and critical

feedback to my students, teach them how to give it and use it with my peers or colleagues.

While reading the book, I got many connections and was able to reflect deeply. I initially felt

that we should bring the awareness within our school that we need to build a culture, not only to

teach but develop a system wherein each and every students becomes responsible for the

community and has a vision to do something for the society as there are 3 things that plays a major

role in a student’s career and those are family, neighbourhood and the school. We need to make

them good citizens and that can happen if they are exposed to the idea of how to build good ethics.

We should reduce our stress on quantity rather than quality.

We should set the habit to document students work for evidence, give them constructive and

critical feedback, allow them to undergo multiple drafts, work more on the quality of their work

rather than the quantity, use students portfolios for future use, provide them models to get inspired

and be creative in their ideas.

The thing that amazed me while reading the epic was the presentation done by the kids while

presenting their portfolio. The way they have multiple drafts and the confidence they show while

discussing it by disclosing their struggle and achievements is worth appreciating. I wish each and

every student undergoes this process and show excellence in whatever they do.
