Your network drives the critical data, voice, video and security

applications required to support your business. A pre-terminated

cabling system simplifies the delivery of those network services

by providing reliable infrastructure components assembled

and tested in a factory-controlled environment.

An end-to-end pre-terminated cabling system is an ideal

solution for data centers especially when time for traditional

cable installation, termination, and testing is limited.

Pre-terminated cable assemblies offer a simple plug-n-go

solution for links between LAN switches, servers, patch panels

and zone distribution areas, which enables easy additions

to current infrastructure or new installations.

BENEFITS OF A PRE-TERMINATEDCABLING SYSTEM

As part of the complete QUICKNET ™ Solution*, the PANDUIT ® QUICKNET ™ CopperCabling System is a custom pre-terminated cabling solution, designed to meet uniquestructured cabling requirements. Fast and simple to install, this high-density solutionprovides consistent network reliability and reduces initial on-site rework.

This leading-edge system delivers ensured performance for the lowest total cost of ownership.

Quick Network DeploymentPre-terminated cabling systems can be installed in 75% less time than field-termination methods, eliminating the need for on-site bundling, terminating, and testing. Moves, adds, and changes can be made immediately by existing on-site network professionals, increasing productivity relative to traditional field installations. This is critical for areas that require high security and limited access, as changes to the network can be made without scheduling outside personnel.

Consistent ReliabilityComponents are 100% tested and assembled in a factory-controlled environment ensuring more consistent network connections with optimum reliability as compared to those terminated on-site. This eliminates rework and keeps your project on schedule with maximum network uptime.

Innovative System ComponentsAssemblies are comprised of tuned components designed to deliver maximum channel performance and network reliability. Angled high-density patch panels are engineered to ensure optimum rack space utilization.

As a result, data centers can manage continuously evolving technologies more quickly and efficiently than ever before. An investment in a trouble-free, high performance infrastructure that leverages reliable, scalable components ensures overall system performance with the lowest cost of ownership.

To simplify data center designs, PANDUIT has developed a library of PANDUIT products, represented as isometric shapes.Simply select PANDUIT products from the toolbar using a “drag and drop” feature to create customized design specifications.

Designers can utilize the cable routing function to estimate QUICKNET ™ Cable Assembly lengths.

A simple to use macro within the tool generates a PANDUIT Bill of

Material which can be saved within the AutoCAD* drawing or

exported to Excel^ for use in quote requests.

Additional functions include cable management and accessory

prompts for consideration to help ensure deployment

of a complete end-to-end system.

The PANDUIT ® QUICKNET ™ Copper Cabling System exceeds the applicable permanent link requirements for Category 6A and Category 6 transmission over twisted-pair cabling. Each assembly is 100% performance tested at the factory. A Fluke* Linkware test report accompanies each cable assembly and will also be archived by PANDUIT(see figure 1). Because the cable assemblies are 100% factory tested, the time and cost associated with on-site fieldtesting is eliminated.

Permanent Link Compliance is tested for the following parameters:Insertion Loss (IL)Return Loss (RL)Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT)Power Sum Near-End Crosstalk (PSNEXT)Equal Level Far-End Crosstalk (ELFEXT)Power Sum Equal Level Far-End Crosstalk (PSELFEXT)Power Sum Alien Crosstalk for 10GBASE-T Systems (PSANEXT)**Power Sum Alien Attenuation to Crosstalk Ratio at the Far-End for 10GBASE-T Systems (PSAACR-F)**
