It’s easier to manage quotes in Clarity Pro v4.3We’ve introduced a superb new two-stage quote item deletion process in v4.3.This process means that users can remove an item from a quote without upsetting the quote item numbering.
If the customer decides the item is required these items are easily restored. The quote total, the document print-outs and the knock on effect into Purchasing and Production of the line items is all taken care of automatically to ensure your data is looked after.
Quote Faster by Refreshing and Copying Line ItemsAnother big time saving is achieved with the added ability to manually refresh all quotation line items. If cost prices change, a quotation can easily be updated using one button rather than having to load each line item, update and close.
The ability to copy line items from previous revisions of a quote has been added. This is a much requested feature that is now a very simple function by enabling the view of previous revisions when searching quotes.
Multi-VAT Line Items and Faster Creation of Purchase OrdersIn Purchase Orders, we’ve created the ability to set the VAT by line item rather than a rate for the entire PO, giving you increased accuracy when purchasing from multiple sources. And the ability to add multiple items in the selection process speeds up the creation of Purchase Orders.
Referrer, Agent and Reseller Payments on JobsA new quotation facility in v4.3 to add a referrer, agent or reseller to a job means that margins can be calculated and added to jobs.
Calculated commissions or fees can easily be generated based on the discount or margin set against their account. Agents can also be tagged against an account so that they are always included in the cost.
System-Wide Performance EnhancementsWe’ve made substantial increases in performance in the Marketing Module, Purchase Requisition functions and Bill of Materials calculations and adjustments.
