Ingram Micro and Cisco are excited to introduce Meraki Kickstart, a new enablement program for our partners. This training, taught by
Ingram Micro’s Meraki masters, will be available virtually, with the option to attend in person at the Cisco Experience Center in Ingram
Micro’s Buffalo, N.Y., office.*
What is the Ingram Micro Meraki Kickstart program?
The objective of this four-hour, single-day program is to expose our valued reseller partners to Meraki Cloud managed network solutions
and walk through basic implementations to support different vertical end users.
Learn all about the design and deployment of this cloud-based solution, including value-added services such as optimizing applications,
traffic shaping, guest access, content filtering, intrusion prevention and mobile device management. The Meraki dashboard will also be
covered for configuration, troubleshooting and reporting.
Who should attend this training?
It’s designed for pre- and post-sales engineers. We’ll discuss and configure a complete solution of switching, wireless, security and device
management via cloud managed services.
Participants will experience a basic overview of each technology and the competitive advantage of the Meraki solution—with the ultimate
goal of being equipped with the knowledge and resources to conduct pre-sales demonstrations.

Content will include:
Security
The Meraki MX security appliance will be discussed, including
perimeter security, intrusion prevention, content filtering and
access to networks via splash page. Reporting and analytics will
also be covered in this part of the training.
Switching
We’ll examine the Meraki switching solution, including its instant
integration and configuration with the MX appliance and expanding
the wired network from the basic MX configuration, port schedules
and access privileges. The unique method of monitoring and
managing ports will conclude this module.
Wireless
Ease of configuration is one of the highlights of the Meraki
wireless network. Content will cover traffic shaping for
applications, guest access and compliance reporting.
Mobile/Device Management
The ability to manage various types of devices will be discussed;
we’ll demonstrate and configure desktop/Windows management
(software inventory, remote desktop).
