• Regular hand wash: Everyone at the hospital including the staff and patients must wash their hands to reduce the risk.

• Use of antibiotics: If antibiotics are used more than the mentioned quantity, then they become less effective and increase chances of infections.

• Use of equipment: Equipment like urinary catheters introduce infection inside the body in case they were not introduced correctly.

• Surgical cuts: Patients which go through surgical cuts, stitching of wounds, burns and ulcers are highly prone to infections.

• Do not touch areas in hospital: You should not entry in areas like intensive care units (ICU) and high dependency units (HDU) to stay away from infections.
