ACC Subsidy Updates – 1 December 2016

ACC has advised that there is an increase of 2.22% to all the amounts ACC is liable to pay, or contribute towards treatment, under the Cost of

Treatment Regulations (CoTR). These changes will take effect on 1 December 2016.

In addition, ACC has advised that new service item codes for physiotherapy following ACC-funded surgery (acute and elective surgery) are being

introduced on 1 December 2016. Physiotherapists will not have to apply for further treatment via the post-surgery phone approval or the ACC32

process before commencing post-surgery treatment.

This update will install the following ACC subsidy amendments for the listed Services Contracts, effective from 1 December 2016, within Medtech

Evolution. The update can be run any time prior to 1 December 2016.
