Activites : 1. Teacher introduces a song . (Appendix 1) 2. Teacher sings the song and the pupils listen.

3. Teacher tells the pupils to sing after the teacher. 4. Pupils sing the song in groups. 5. Teacher asks some questions to the pupils &

shows them some pictures. (Appendix 2) a) What is this?

c) What is the colour of the leaves?

d) Does it have any fruits?

e) How does the mango taste?

f) Do you like mangoes?

6. Teacher introduces some words with the sound “ee” . (Appendix 3) 7. Pupils listen and then read after the teacher. 8. Pupils say out the words together. 9. Teacher distributes the handouts to the pupils. (Appendix 4) 10. Teacher reads the words while the pupils circle the correct pictures.
