The bench seat folds down in one single motion to form

a flat floor, and the wire-mesh partition can be positioned

behind the driver’s seat to allow you to load items up to

2 m long and 3.6 m3. So, you no longer have to choose

between transporting people and carrying goods – you

can travel with a team of five and still transport 2.4 m3

in effective volume. Kangoo Express Maxi Box Van gives

One day, you might need to carry people, the

next day goods... Kangoo meets your needs.

It is available with three front seats*: one for

the driver and a two-seat bench with a storage

compartment underneath offering a maximum

capacity of 10 litres. The backrests of the two-seat

bench fold down separately to form a shelf or allow

you to load long items.

You can also opt for Kangoo Maxi Crew Cab, which

allows you to transport five people with an effective

length of 2 m when the bench is folded down.

Finally, the hinged rear roof flap gives you even

more height to play with.

Big on loading space

In the passenger compartment, multiple storage

solutions allow you to make the most of the available

space.

The dashboard storage space is easy to access and

can be used to hold your A4 documents. For more

cumbersome items, you can use the roof panel rack,

the glovebox or the central armrest (depending on

the version), or even the space under the two-seat

bench in the front.

The loading area offers generous volume that

extends from 2.3 m3 to 4.6 m3 depending on

the version. A range of equipment is available

to meet your needs: various types of partitions

(solid, wire-mesh, tubular) and fittings, floor and/

or side protectors, lashing systems, panelled and

glazed opening elements and an ingenious sliding

hinged rear roof flap. The payload, meanwhile, is

500 kg to 800 kg** depending on the version and

configuration.

Superbly accessible

No effort is required to activate the sliding side

doors or free up your loading space by opening

the asymmetrical rear doors to 180°, so loading

is a piece of cake. The low loading sill, 55 cm to

61 cm from the floor, makes it easy to handle heavy

loads. Multiple openings, a sliding hinged rear roof

flap, panelled or glazed rear and/or side doors and

better use of the effective volume…

TCe 115 EDC petrol engine: Comfort, fuel economy and responsiveness

The EDC automatic gearbox with dual-clutch

transmission combines the comfort of an automatic

gearbox with the responsiveness and fuel economy

of a manual gearbox. Delivering 115 hp at 2,000 rpm,

the TCe 115 EDC engine offers a driving experience

that is both dynamic and enjoyable thanks to the

EDC transmission. Achieving fuel consumption

of just 6.4 l/100 km* and CO2 emissions of

144 g/km, you can take full advantage of all the

driving pleasure the TCe 115 EDC has to offer.

Energy TCe 115 petrol engine High performance and power

The Energy TCe 115 is a 1.2 litre (1,197 cc) turbo,

4 cylinder and 16 valve direct injection engine.

With its aluminium block, it offers excellent response

and acceleration. It delivers 115 horsepower and

offers excellent maximum torque of 190 Nm

available from 2,000 to 4,000 rpm, of which

90% is available from 1,500 rpm. Its 100 hp per

litre is absolutely unheard of on a 1.2 litre petrol

engine. In achieving these performance levels, the

Energy TCe 115 engine remains economical, with

fuel consumption of just 6.2 l/100 km* and CO2

emissions of 140 g/km.

Energy dCi 75 & 90 Economical and efficient

The Energy dCi 75 and dCi 90 engines are designed

for professional use. The new energy recovery

and engine shut-off (Stop & Start) technologies

give them fuel consumption of just 4.3 l/100 km*

with CO2 emissions limited to 112 g/km. This

consumption level, combined with an oil change

interval increased to up to 40,000 km or 2 years**,

helps keep maintenance costs down.

Energy dCi 110 Comfort and responsiveness

The Energy dCi 110 engine delivers 110 hp

at 4,000 rpm – ideal for heavy loads and long

journeys. The high torque of 260 Nm is available

from 1,750 rpm, making it especially suitable for

starting with a full load and obtaining response

and acceleration in all conditions. In terms of fuel

consumption, it boasts a mere 4.4 l/100 km* on the

combined cycle, with CO2 emissions of 115 g/km.

Eco mode

Activated by a simple press of a button, it helps you

reduce the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of

your Kangoo Express, depending on your driving

style, and extend the driving range of your Kangoo

Z.E. by up to 10%. As an option, Eco mode can also

be permanently activated so that the button need

no longer be pressed.

Control your driving range

Kangoo Z.E. gives an average driving range of

80 km in winter and 125 km in the warmer months.

This range varies according to your speed, the

evenness of the roads you use, your driving style and

how much you use the heating and air conditioning.

Kangoo Z.E. offers you various tools to help maximise

your driving radius. First among them is ‘Eco’ mode,

which limits dynamic performance in favour of

extending your driving range. Secondly, remember

that the battery recharges each time you decelerate,

i.e. when you lift your foot off the accelerator

pedal (this is displayed on the econometer on the

instrument panel). Next, the preheating function

allows you to enjoy optimum thermal comfort whilst

preserving your battery’s resources by programming

the heating or ventilation of your vehicle. This

system is even more efficient when your vehicle

is equipped with a full partition separating the

passenger compartment from the loading area.

Easy recharging

To recharge your batteries, simply plug your vehicle

into a charging terminal in the street, at work or at

home for six to nine hours (for a full charge). Your

Kangoo Z.E. can also be connected to a Green'Up

Access socket (7–10 h charging time) or a domestic

socket (10–12 h). You can use the Renault R-Link*

connected navigation system to locate terminals

within your driving range.

experience: relaxing silence whilst driving. At the

The battery lease system gives you the assurance of

having a battery in perfect working order available

at all times, with sufficient charge, always above

75% of its initial capacity. In the event of a power

breakdown, the assistance service is included. With

the My Z.E. Inter@ctive pack, you can start the

charging process remotely, from your computer,

if the vehicle is connected to a terminal. This is a

good way to optimise your budget by scheduling

charging for off-peak hours. What’s more, when

This new generation combines the traction control system (ASR) and Understeer Control Logic

with R-Link Navigation. The camera is always linked to the rear

parking sensor for optimum performance.

Extended Grip: Driving assistance

Paired with ESC, Extended Grip is a traction control function

to help you in difficult driving conditions (sand, mud,

snow). When Extended Grip is active, a green Extended

Grip icon is displayed on the instrument panel with the

message ‘Loose ground’ for 15 seconds.

1. The Renault R-Link connected multimedia system takes full

advantage of TomTom Traffic Navigation, portable music, telephones,

vehicle equipment control and access to the applications available

from the R-Link Store. The system is controlled using a special

CD-radio with controls on the front (dial and buttons). It also comes

with voice recognition to control your telephone and navigation.

1. Perfect for manoeuvring, the rear-view camera shows an image of what’s going

on behind the vehicle on the R-Link navigation screen when equipped. It especially

comes in handy when your Kangoo is fully panelled or fitted with a solid partition,

Accessories

1. Steel roof rack. This roof rack is designed to fit the vehicle perfectly.

It is robust and has been wind-tunnel tested and treated against corrosion.

It allows you to transport loads of up to 100 kg with ease (the maximum

permitted load includes the weight of the roof rack). A deflector eliminates

all aerodynamic noise for added comfort. Available depending on the vehicle

length. 2. Transverse roof bars These roof bars are designed to fit the

vehicle perfectly. Made from galvanised steel, they are corrosion-resistant.

They have also been designed to limit aerodynamic noise. The bars are

highly robust and can take loads of up to 95 kg (including the weight of the

bars). 3. Standard towbar. The standard towbar is designed for permanent

use on the vehicle. It ensures impeccable safety for the equipment being

towed. It is treated against corrosion and can withstand intensive use.

7- and 13-pin wiring harnesses are also available in the Renault Accessories

range. 4. Swan-neck towbar. Designed for intensive use, the swan-neck

towbar is ideally suited for professional driving needs. It is treated against

corrosion, stands up to professional usage and can easily be removed with

tools. 7- and 13-pin wiring harnesses are also available.

1. Full wood kit. The wooden panels are custom

designed. They provide optimum protection for the

loading area and ensure it remains in good condition

even with intensive use. The panels thereby avoid

costs associated with restoring the vehicle for resale,

which are much higher than the cost of a wood kit.

2. Plastic floor. This custom-made plastic container

fits perfectly onto the floor of the loading area. Made

from ABS plastic, it is ideal for transporting dirty

items and can be cleaned very easily with a hose.

3. Window grilles. These custom-made window grilles

help prevent break-ins whilst maintaining good rear

visibility. 4. Front mud guards. These mudguards,

available for the front and rear, protect the bodywork

against flying gravel and mud.

Accessories

1. Seat covers. These seat covers offer effective protection

of the original fabric. Made from textile or plastic-coated

fabric, they are custom-designed and airbag-compatible.

mats are equipped with Renault’s original pre-fittings.

They guarantee optimum driver safety. The fabric and

rubber mats are highly resistant to wear and tear and

thus perfectly suitable for businesses. The rubber mat is

particularly recommended for activities which attract a

lot of dirt (mud, sand, snow). 4. Fire extinguisher bracket.

The fire extinguishers available in the Renault range can be

fitted to this special bracket. Attached to the floor on the

passenger side, it is crash-tested to guarantee the safety

of the vehicle’s occupants.
