BRAKESDisc brakes on the entire range.RenaultMidlumcomesequippedwith thenew-generation "ElectronicBraking System" (EBS 5).This is an electronically controlled air brake system that adjusts thebrake applied to each wheel to match road adherence conditions.

This brake system has:

- ABS: controls vehicle trajectory during an emergency stop- Emergency brake assistance: optimised braking distance duringemergency braking

- Engine brake management: on wet surfaces and duringretrograding, retains control of lightly-loaded vehicles by keepingthe rear wheels from locking.

Coupling of braking systemsRenault Trucks allows you to couple the different braking systems:service brakes, engine brake and retarder. The system is managedby EBS.

MAINTENANCEMaintenance intervals are programmedwith profitability inmind andare determined by engine oil wear analysis against vehicle usage.

Maintenance aid by way of fast breakdown diagnostic and display ofpredictivemaintenance schedule / oil change intervals (optimised inrelation to vehicle operating conditions).Renault Midlum no longer requires the “traditional” first warrantyservice.
