Responsible for the internal Quality Management System procedures as it pertained to ISO9001. Duties included revising system procedures and work instructions while also maintaining document control. I facilitated documented Q.M.S. training for corrective action, as well as setting up a weekly corrective action metrics chart. I also resolved systems corrective action requests from various customers. Responsible for leading the weekly Kaizen action item meetings. I also performed the in house ISO9001 auditing.

The sustained slow down in the fastener manufacturing work directly lead to my lay-off.

Responsible for aiding in the development, implementation and maintenance for AS9100 Quality Management System procedures and work instructions as well as the unique customer purchase order flow down requirements, in the Aerospace Industry.

Responsible for the documented training for all company associates as required to demonstrate full compliance to specified details within the requirements of AS9100.

Responsible for the training, testing and certification for all company internal auditors.

Responsible for training, testing and certification for all company heat treat operators per the applicable AC7101 standard, Heat Treatment of Aluminum Alloys for Aerospace.

Responsible for the documented and the effective implementation of audit corrective actions, generated against systems non-compliance findings relative to AS9101 and AC7102, quality process and systems procedural requirements as fully mandated.

Responsible as the Management Representative to prepare and present relative data at the Annual Management Meeting. I also was responsible for maintaining documented records within the weekly management meetings, which assigned action items and follow up actions as required by management personnel for continuous improvement.

In addition to my near 10 year tenure at the McStarlite Company, I also feature an additional 20 years within the stringent Aerospace Industry. This would also include tenures at Rockwell International and the McDonnell Douglas Corporation as well as additional aerospace supplier companies. My various positions ranged from Q.A. Inspector, Q.A. Engineer, Q.A. Manager as well as the Q.A. Director signature authority, for BAE/Airbus commercial aircraft components.
