VALUE RETAIL CHINA

Value Retail is a multinational company specialised in the development and operation of luxury outlet shopping Villages. Together with the unique design, setting and guest services offered

at each Village, Value Retail has changed the very concept of destination shopping.

At Boiler Corporation we are the creative and consulting agency of all the events, graphic contents and actvitation projects for the newborn Yi Ou Lai Suzhou Village, a 70,000 sqm luxury shopping destination

in Suzhou, China, which currently includes over 100 fashion brands stores.

Following two years of branding activities for Yi Ou Lai Suzhou Village, Boiler Corporation star ted to work for the second upmarket outlet opened by Value Retail in China.

For the recent opening of the 55,000 sqm Shanghai Village, which architecture is inspired by Ar t Deco builidings from Milan, New York, Paris, Vienna and Shanghai, we designed the graphic illustrations for their ADV campaign,

marketing in-Village comms and windows vinyls.

Shanghai Village, situated in the hear t of Shanghai Internatinal Tourism and Resor t Zone, is so far the biggest investment by multinational retail company Value Retail, developers of award-winning Bicester Village in London.

Fidenza Village, located in nor th Italy, is one of the shopping destinations owned by Value Retail. Boiler Corporation produced the ar tistic project curated by Boiler par tner Davide Quadrio for the customers’ experience

during 2015 Expo. Ed Ecco la Mia Faccia is an out of scale installation made by Italian ar tist Patrick Tuttofuoco on the occasion of The Embassy of Made in Italy, a programme of fashion, ar t, design and food.

Monumental sizes of ears, mouths and hands appeared in the venue, symbolizing the “sensorial” experience that the visitors were called to be par t of until the end of October, 2015.

Creative Direction of La Rinascente Milano shopping mall’s Christmas 2011 windows, in collaboration with ar tist Anthony Ausgang. The project was conceived and commissioned

by Boiler founder and Managing Director, Ivan Maria Vele, for creative agency Independent Ideas.

As par t of a 360 degree consultancy for Zagliani, Boiler Corporation redesigned the showroom and Atelier space for the brand by mixing original designed furniture and customizing vintage design pieces.

The Atelier is used only for a selected clientele for made to order bags in precious exotic skins and leathers.

SMYTHSON / FLAGSHIP STORE LONDON

In an effor t to celebrate the launch of the Panama collection, Boiler Corporation worked with Smythson on a project that envisioned the collaboration with ar tist Quentin Jones to reinterpret in her fashion a set of iconic

Panama diaries owned by a series of famous personalities. 10 original ar tworks were produced and presented in a “gallery” setting at Smythson f lagship store in New Bond Street alongside the presentation of the full Panama line.

From the initial concept creation to store installation and displays, Boiler Corporation worked with the ar tist during the whole creative process. Collateral material was also produced: invitation, catalogue and animated digital content.

SMYTHSON / COLETTE PAR IS

The same Panama Legacy exhibition made it to Colette in Paris in occasion of the launch of a capsule collection designed by Quentin Jones for Smythson. We designed the window installation and inner product displays for the event.

SMYTHSON / PACIFIC PLACE MALL HONG KONG

In June 2013 Smythson opened their f ist f lagship store in China at the Pacif ic Place Mall in Hong Kong. On that occasion, we created a temporary installation on the mall ground f loor to showcase the brand’s heritage.

The whole installation was made in original Smythson’s iconic featherweight blue paper. Products from Smythson’s archive that date back as early as 1908 were shown, along with a video directed by ar tist Virgilio Villoresi

to celebrate the brand’s spir it and aesthetics, in special designed display units featuring both leather and paper goods.

PIRELLI PZERO

Boiler Corporation are image consultants of Pirelli Pzero, the fashion brand owned by Pirelli & C. S.p.a., the tyre multinational company based in Milan, active in over 160 countries, with 21 manufacturing sites around the world.

Pirelli are also renown in the fashion and ar t world for their Pirelli Calendar, published since 1964.

Since 2011, we ar t directed and produced their collection catalogues for both menswear and womenswear, as well as their seasonal ad campaigns and the key visuals for all their communication tools.

We have conceived and produced their events, product presentations, POS materials and international fairs. We designed their showroom in Milan and the store windows of their PZero Corso Venezia 1 f lagship store.

JUVENTUS F.C . AND NIKE

In 2011, when the new Juventus Stadium opened in Turin, we created exclusive contents for premium users and to drive traff ic to the VIP Store. We produced online and off line marketing tools to attract customers

and increase awareness of the retail facilities of the stadium. In 2012 we collaborated with Juventus Merchandising (a company comprising Juventus F.C. and Nike)

for the opening of their new store in Milan.

In November 2011, on the occasion of the new Juventus Store opening in Turin, r ight in front of the stadium, we organized a cocktail reception at the presence of President Andrea Agnelli and most of the team players.

We created interactive contents for the touch-screen table placed in the middle of the Store.

We directed and produced an adv campaign including a series of 4 promotional videos with players Barzagli, Bonucci, Quagliarella and Vidal, playing their roles of customers amidst common people inside the new Juventus Store.

The contents, dedicated to the 2011-12 merchandising collection, were broadcasted through the Club’s off icial web channels and on the stadium’s ledwalls.

In order to increase Juventus Store traff ic and awareness, we created “Another Brick in the Mall”, an online and in-store contest promoted through f lyers, windows and posts on the off icial Juventus internet

channels. On a webwall page, suppor ters could upload their photos that were subsequently displayed on the website and on the stadium‘s megascreen, giving them the possibility to take par t in “instant win” activities.

The dedicated website registered 20,000 visits and 4,000 plays in 6 months.
