Orientation of grave markers should be East/West. Under the principles of Feng Shui, the following should hold true:

• Natural land forms take precedence over structures

• Higher grade serves as protection of burials and should be in the back

• Roads are at a higher grade than Lorena, therefore the graves should face down with the grave markers behind them

• Memorial wall will serve to demarcate boundaries of the re-interment site.

• Will serve as a visual barrier to the maintenance yard.• Materials used should conform to the materials of the Chinese

Historical Shrine. Consider the use of a concrete wall with a slump stone finish.

• Heights should be proportioned to the height of the maintenance yard fence and Chinese Historical Shrine. Consider 4’8”-5’4”.

• Consider incorporating LA County Crematorium Chapel images into memorial wall. Processes to consider include: black and white photographic etching process, photographic image on porcelain enamel steel panels or laser etched images.

The dimensions for each grave marker are not to exceed 12”x24”. Each plot will accommodate two burials and two grave markers to identify each set of discoveries per grave.

Each marker will have a unique number identifying the particular discovery. This personal identification number, to be consistent, can be the order of discovery followed by location. The grave marker itself can then have this personal identification number in the upper left corner, the date of their finding and final resting date on the bottom right corner; with a centered uniform saying.
