ANHI Hypnotherapy Course

Students can expect ANHI Hypnotherapy evening course to consist of 500 hours and last as little as

18 months. Class meets Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and one

Saturday a month for training and hands on practice. ANHI offers a 500 hour accelerated day course that last as little as 10 months. The day class meets

Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and one Saturday a month for practical. ANHI Hypnotherapy Courses will teach you a very scientific form of Hypnotherapy designed to

equip you with the maximum skills needed to become a successful Clinical Hypnotherapist.

Atlanta National Hypnotherapy Institute is the only school of its kind AUTHORIZED BY THE

NONPUBLIC POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION COMMISSION OF GEORGIA.

Once you have graduated from semester one and two, all school fees are paid and there is space

available, you may sit in on a future ANHI Hypnotherapy Course for a small fee of $990.00 to update

your studies or review. It stands to reason that the more training you have in a particular field the better you will be. That is

why ANHI offers a 500-hour course, hands on training, specialty workshops, advanced hypnotherapy

classes and continuing educational classes.

If you are like most of us, you do not have an unlimited amount of time or money to invest, but how

It is difficult to sort through all the confusing and conflicting information concerning

hypnosis/hypnotherapy courses. When deciding where to obtain your Certification as Clinical

Hypnotherapist then, consider asking these questions.

Questions to Ask

1. What organization would I receive certification from and what would that mean?

2. Is your school authorized and by whom?

3. Do you teach left/right brain concepts? (This question is important, because left and right

brain dominant individuals learn and process information differently and therefore, for the

best results, they need to be hypnotized differently and even the suggestions need to be

tailored to their particular learning style.)

4. Have your instructors trained at a licensed and authorized school? What are the hours of

training they have received?

5. Does homework make up part of the hours of training?

6. Is the training consistently held at one physical location?

8. Does the school have a credentialed founder or director? How long have they been a

certified hypnotherapist and where did they receive their training?

9. Are the courses held in a hotel?

What is a Hypnotherapist? Hypnotherapists are recognized as “vocational and self-improvement instructors.” These encompass the

areas of self-improvement that are not related to medical disorders and are not severe enough to be

considered psychopathologies. In the area of health services, these are the areas that the majority of

Americans struggle with every day.

Here Are Only a Few of the Ways Hypnotherapy May be Used?

The hundreds of opportunities that exist in the field of Hypnotherapy are unique.

More and more businesses and industries have become interested in hypnotherapy for their

employees. Absenteeism, substance abuse and other problems resulting from stress take a heavy

financial toll on companies. Reducing stress and increasing sales motivation can result in higher

productivity and financial gain.

What Can I Expect to Charge for Sessions?

The fee for hypnotherapy is often dependent on the economics of the area in which you open your office.

On the high end of the price scale it might be $300.00 or more for the initial session and on the low end it

might be $150.00 to $200.00. Sessions thereafter are less than the initial session.

What Will I do After I Graduate?

You may wish to open your own office, either by yourself, or in partnership with other

professionals.

If you are a Doctor, Nurse, Medical Professional, Chiropractor, Psychologist, Counselor, Health

Care Professional, Teacher or other Professional, you may wish to use hypnosis in conjunction

with your current profession.

If you are in a position of directing or managing others, you may wish to use your knowledge of

left/right brain concepts and communication (the way individuals receive and process

information) to more effectively manage, communicate and direct others.

You may use the knowledge learned in this course to motivate sales personals and greatly

Why Hypnotherapy Works

Your mind is composed of the conscious and subconscious. Your conscious mind is estimated to be

between one and 12 percent of your mind. It handles your logic, reason and your willpower.

The subconscious mind is estimated between 88 and 99 percent of total mind power and it handles all

automatic body functions such as breathing. It associates and identifies with the past. That is where

your imagination and expectations reside.

Did you make any New Year resolutions? Last year did you make New Year resolutions and

did you keep them all? If not, what happened?

There are thousands of things in your life that illustrate the power of your subconscious mind.

Example: You consciously make a decision (1to 12%) using your logic and reason that you want to

be more patient with your family and children. You want to stop smoking or lose weight.

You do fine for a few days or weeks. But then something happens! You get into a situation that

triggers your subconscious (88 to 99%) back into action. Perhaps a friend of yours was smoking and

offered you a cigarette and before you knew it you had taken it and smoked it. You thought to

yourself, “I’ll just have a bit of this cake and the next thing you know half the cake is gone. Your

children are not listening to you, someone cuts in front of you driving home, things are building up at

work and stress levels get higher and you become very upset and impatient even with those you love.

Why? Because your subconscious says, “I associate and identify with that past behavior. I’m

comfortable with it because I’m used to it.” The next thing you know, you are doing the same old

things again. Your subconscious expects the same behaviors as in the past. It is like 1 to12 horses

pulling against 88 to 99 horses.

As a “Clinical Hypnotherapist” you can utilize this natural, powerful and effective method to help

your clients use their subconscious mind to work for them instead of against them.

At one time, it was believed that about 60% of the population could not be hypnotized. That was

because the same hypnotic technique was applied to every client. However, since the research of Dr.

Kappas, we now know that everyone can be hypnotized. You just need to hypnotize them according

to the way they process information.

There are individuals who walk around in a hypnotized state most of the time. They are

extremely suggestible to everything. We live in a world of suggestions every day of our lives. These

people are in environmental hypnosis and you will learn to recognize them and dehypnotize them so

they will have more control of their lives.

It is important to know how your client learns and processes information in order for him to get

the best result from the hypnotherapy sessions. These differences are important so that you can speak

to your client in the way they relate the best and you can form your suggestions in the way they learn.

Almost no one is completely left or right brained, but most people are more dominant one way or the

other to some degree. By understanding left/right brain concepts, you will be able to tailor your

induction and suggestions to fit each individual subject.

ANHI Hypnotherapy course involves in-depth teaching with live demonstrations, lectures, practice

and hands on instruction.

What You Will Learn

Your autonomic nervous system connects your mind with every cell in your body. Through your

autonomic nervous system, a thought held in your mind may affect hormonal balance, metabolism

and blood flow. For every emotion there is a physiological reaction.

In fear, there is an increased heartbeat, rapid breathing, and butterflies in the stomach. When relaxed,

there is a calming of your mind, slowing of heartbeat and breathing. There is a lack of tension in the

body.

You will teach your client how to trigger the relaxation response so when they start to feel

stressed, they calm down because they now associate and identify with being calm, level headed

and in control.

You will learn a wide range of different methods and modalities to affect the subconscious mind

because that is where our emotions; imagination, our expectation, our intuition, our dreams, our

habits, the way we identify and associate, and all our automatic functioning resides.

There are many forms of hypnosis and just because it is not called hypnosis does not mean that it is

not. You will learn to recognize hypnosis in whatever form it takes and be able to evaluate it

objectively. You will understand how our belief systems affect our every-day life.

Under certain circumstances in our life rational and irrational fears may develop. Often the client has

gone to various therapies for help and understand the reason for the problem but is still plagued with

the fears. That was the case with Ann. She was afraid to fly, afraid to drive a car over mountains.

After four sessions she drove up to the Smoky Mountains in comfort. She flew out West to visit

relatives. It has changed her life. That was several years ago and she is still doing great. How many

careers can give a sense of reward like that?

Hypnotherapy is extremely effective with fear of public speaking, which is very common and keeps

many from climbing the ladder of success in their career.

We will learn to do hypnotic dream venting and dream work with your clients.

Relationships Strategies

In most relationships, one is heart-

ruled and one is head-ruled.

Some of the very traits that attracted you to your partner in the beginning are often the ones that seem

to irritate you later.

In each relationship, one partner is more comfortable verbalizing, touching and living by their

feelings, while the other is more comfortable thinking, retaining his or her own counsel, and living by

logic and reason. One is more heart-ruled and one is more head-ruled. While both are equally

capable of thinking and feeling, both possess an ability to act out logically or emotionally, each is

more comfortable with one behavior than the other.

In our classes you will learn how to move forward in your current or new partnership armed with a

road map showing you where the pitfalls are and how to avoid stumbling into them. You will learn to

look at potential partners with new insight. You will identify and understand your sexual

suggestibility. Relationship Strategies goes beyond the difference of gender.

His theory of emotional and physical sexuality will forever change how you view your relationships

Students are required to attend three sessions of hypnotherapy during the Hypnotherapy Course.

Did you know every time you write your name you unconsciously and automatically you stamp your

individuality in your signature? Your handwriting is as personal as your fingerprints. Handwriting is

really brain writing. It reveals the way a person thinks, the mental capabilities, emotional and social

reactions, and talents and traits. Since no two individuals think and act alike, no two people can have

the same characteristics in their handwriting.

Graphoanalysis is not to be confused with graphology. Graphoanalysis is the specific name given to a

handwriting system that is approached on a scientific basis. The techniques involved have been

thoroughly researched and validated. It is a method, which compares favorably to other

psychological testing devices used to measure personality. It is a branch of applied psychology and is

the only world-wide accepted handwriting system.

In education, it helps the teachers understand their students. In the mental health field it is a useful

tool for psychologists, psychiatrists, and physicians. In business and industry, it is a useful tool in

assessment of job applicants, evaluating credit risks, and formulating sales approach. It is a valuable

tool for professionals and all individuals who work and interact with others. Graphoanalysis is fun

and exciting to learn.

Hypnotherapy is medically, professionally and scientifically, respected and accepted. In 1955,

the British Medical Association approved the use of hypnotherapy as a valid medical treatment. The

American Medical Association followed suit in 1958.

While Atlanta-National Hypnotherapy Institute cannot “place” students, ANHI does strive to

ADMISSIONS

The Admissions Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday and Thursday office hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or you may ask for Ms. Ross by

appointment. Ms. Ross will find suitable financial arrangements that are right for you. The ANHI

TUITION

The Hypnotherapy Course is two semesters. Each semester is 250 hours costing $5,900.00.

Those who wish to take the course for general self improvement and knowledge, or to work

with their friends and family on safe issues may take semester one only.

Those wishing to receive a Clinical Hypnotherapist Diploma will need to take Semester One and

Semester Two.

Students wishing to participate in the Internship Program must graduate from Semester Two.

However, a Student wishing to participate in the Internship Program who has not completed

and graduated from Semester two may participate in the program early contingent on grades,

attendance and participation in class discussions in conjunction with approval of ANHI.

Internship $2,600.00

*A non-refundable $75.00 application fee is required if the candidate for the Hypnotherapist

certificate has not previously enrolled in a course of study at ANHI.

ANHI allows students to pay as they attend class.

OTHER COSTS

The tuition does not cover the cost of books required for each course of study. Students are

responsible for obtaining textbooks.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES

The course cancellation and refund policy is based on the time a student has spent in the program.

The reason for a student’s withdrawal has no effect on the refund due. A student may withdraw from

ANHI at any time.

ANHI will refund 100 percent of the amount paid for institute charges if notice of cancellation is

made 3 days after signing the enrollment agreement.

Any notification of cancellation and refund request must be made in writing to the director of ANHI.

Any refund due will be paid within 30 days.

Calculation of refund due shall be on a pro rata basis. An hour of classroom instruction is defined as

an unit of instruction.

Example: Student withdraws after 20 classroom hours.

Each unit is $23.60. Student has received 20 units of instruction

STUDENT CONDUCT

Should any student engage in any behavior, which in the opinion of the director, is potentially damaging to the school or its physical facilities, such student would be

requested to take an indeterminate leave of absence until the time such behavior is remedied. SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ANYWHERE IN OR ON THE PROPERTY. THE USE, POSSESSION OR DISTRIBUTION OF DRUGS AND ALCOHOL BY ANY STUDENT IS PROHIBITED. ANY STUDENT IN VIOLATION OF THIS POLICY WILL BE REFERRED TO THE APPROPRIATE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY.

Students will receive a student handbook at the beginning of the course.

Students are required to attend at least 70% of their classes before they are eligible to take

the final. The instructor records absences and the office staff keeps detailed attendance and

absentee records. These records are available for student review.

All classes are recorded so that if you miss a class you may view the recording to make up the

time.

Student Records

Students are advised that Georgia State Law requires that the school must maintain individual

files for all students enrolled. Copies of student files may be obtained by making a written,

signed request to the school and paying such transcript fees as may apply. Georgia law also

requires that should a proprietary school cease operation for whatever reason, school records and

student files will be turned over to the Nonpublic Post Secondary Education Commission for

storage.

Failure to Pass the Course Every effort is made by the instructors to offer individual assistance to the student in problem areas. However, should the student still fail the course, he/she may repeat that course for $2000.00.

Textbooks: Any textbooks needed may be purchased on or after the first day of school. ANHI has no control over publishers price increases and therefore reserves the right to adjust prices as needed. Other textbooks needed or suggested reading may be bought outside the school.

No person or school in Georgia may teach “Hypnosis or Hypnotherapy as a career or vocation” unless authorized by the Post secondary Education commission. As a perspective student, you should ask to see a copy of the approval certificate and number. You may call or write the Nonpublic Post Secondary Education Commission for verification.

Advanced Enrollment Discount:

10% tuition discount is applicable if payment is made in full by cash or 5% discount if paid by

credit card or check ten days prior to beginning of class.
