The holiday season is always one of my favorite times of year with

people walking around with smiles on their faces and a little extra

spring to their step. The world just seems to shine a bit brighter.

Then there is the fact that it seems like all the best movies are

released around this time. (To stay fresh in the minds of the

Academy voter mind.) There’s the air of anticipation and the joy

of quality entertainment. All of which brings us to back to this little

page turner.

What is this holiday watchlist? Long story short - it’s my year-end

guide to the movies I want to see again and again, the books I can’t

put down, the music I have on repeat, and the television shows I

can’t live without (alright, so maybe I could, but what’s the fun in

that?!). Oh, and I have tossed in a few special treats from my own

personal wishlist for good measure.

I think I’ve made my stance on P!nk pretty clear - she’s kick-ass. And this latest album took that kickin’ to another level. Sure, part of my love for the disc came after seeing her incredible music video for “Try” (featured on the opposite page). But when she recreated the video on live TV... let’s just say she deserved to have more than one last kiss blown her way. Available on Amazon ($9.99) & iTunes ($10.99)

While it isn’t a must have item, I will admit to falling a bit in love with this tiny little gadget (and not just because it’s so flippin’ cute, though it really is).
