PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE:

Dear Parent/Guardian(s):

We have just completed our

second term reporting and our

Parent/Teacher conferences

were conducted last week. I

would like to thank parents and

guardians for taking the time

to visit with the teachers to

discuss your child’s progress.

The month of April welcomes

new learning opportunities for

our students. Our Grade 2/3

and 3 students will be attending

swimming lessons, we will be

hosting the Concours (French

public speaking), and our entire

school will be participating in a

three week Exploratory

session. These sessions offer

students a chance to

experience an activity they

might normally not have the

opportunity to do. There is a

tremendous amount of planning

involved so I would like to thank

the staff and volunteers who

make this event possible.

We also start planning for our

Grade 8 closing activities for

our students this month. Grade

8 pictures will be taken for the

annual school portrait and

orders for the “Grad” hoodie

will be placed.

April is here! We hope sunshine

and warm weather will be just

around the corner! Have a

wonderful Easter Break! Lee Ann Stacey

their new surroundings.(Time TBA)

The Home and School will meet

Wednesday, April 19th

at 5:00 pm.

Home and School are looking for

new members. If you are

interested in joining, you are

welcome to attend the meeting.

The area in front of the Main

Entrance is for emergency vehicles

only.

Students should be dropped off in

the “Student Drop Off Area”.

The students will walk along the

sidewalk to the “student entrance”.

Please do not drive through the

parking lot or the bus loop to

drop off your child. When picking

up your child, please park at the

end of the parking lot and proceed

to the main office and staff will

page your child to the office. If

you know you will be picking up

your child—please send a note

in his/her agenda or a note to

the teacher and they will

send the student to the

office at that time. Because

of our limited space in the

office, we are asking

parents/guardians to wait for

their child in the entrance

space by the office door.

Students who are late must

come to the Main Entrance, into

the office and receive a sign

in/late slip before proceeding

to class.
