Brass American Yellow is 33% Zinc and 67% Copper, whereas Muntz is 40% Zinc and 60% Copper. The difference between the two being that Brass is more yellow in color and Muntz is darker and more corrosive resistant.

WE OFFER TWO TYPES OF COLORING ON STAINLESS STEEL: Titanium nitride coloring is an extremely hard. inert, thin, transparent molecularbonded ceramic coating that protects and beautifies stainless. TiNi colors include golds, bronzes, blues and blacks. Powder coatings are extremely durableelectronically charged and baked on polyurethane enamels. Powder coating colors include RAL colors, transparencies and special textured finishes. The highlighting process is sanding off the tops of RIGIDIZED® textures and can be applied to all colored and powder coated RIGIDIZED® textures.

WALL PANEL SYSTEMSRIGIDIZED® PANEL SYSTEMS offer an easy approach to specifying RIGIDIZED® durable and decorativemetals. our wall panel systems are designed to meet the needs of high impact environments and decorative spaces alike. Our metal panels are formed to your specifications and are hung with easy to install demountable “Z” clip system. However, don’t expect to replace a RIGIDIZED® deep texturedmetal panel because they are engineered to last for decades.

PANEL DESIGNS INCLUDE [AND ARE NOT LIMITED TO]:

■ PAN FACE PANEL Suitable for interior applications, the pan face panel has a formed pan that is laminated to the core material and a backer sheet that provides structural balance, strength and a suspension system platform.

■ PAN-IN-PAN PANEL Suitable for interior and exterior applications, the pan-in-pan system has a slightly smaller backer pan that seals the core material inside the panel. The backer pan provides superior structural balance and strength.

■ HAT CHANNEL PANEL Suitable for both interior and exterior walls, hat channel panels do not have a core, rather a hat channel that attaches to the pan face and supports the suspension system.

MATERIALS AND FINISHES

RIGIDIZED® WALL PANELS are made from nearly all metals, finishes and textures. Panel face gauge selection is critical to durability. We recommend a minimum of 20 gauge for RIGIDIZED® deep textured face materials and 18 gauge for untextured surfaces. The added strength of RIGIDIZED® patterned metal allows for use of lighter gauges while maintaining substantial impact resistance.

CORNERS, REVEALS AND JOINTS CORNERSBeautifully finished corners are the hallmark of a superior quality panel manufacturer. Corners exemplify the attention to detail and pride in architectural panel construction. In the industry there are typically two types of corner offered: open and welded. Not unlike our RIGIDIZED®panel faces, our exclusive formed corner is anything but typical. RIGIDIZED® exclusive formed corners are revolutionary because they require no notching or welding, making them perfect for colored and painted surfaces where retouchingis not an option.

Formed corners are a feature of our lightweight aluminum honeycomb core panel. RIGIDIZED® 20 gauge panels boast the same impact resistance as panels made from 16 gauge ordinary sheet metal, which istwice as thick. Cutting panel face material in half greatly reduces raw material costs and consumption. A formed corner RIGIDIZED® panel offers heavy-duty performance in a lightweight panel with a sealed corner, typically only available in heavier gauges.

Welded corners are used with heavier gauge panels where corners need to be sealed for moisture or aesthetic reasons.

Open corners called notch and fold corners, are a popular choice for interior applications where moisture is of little concern.

DEMOUNTABLE “Z” CLIP PANEL SUSPENSION SYSTEM

MADE FROM EXTRUDED ALUMINUM, “Z” clips are the most popular choice of professional installers because they install in minutes and are a terrific value. “Z” clipsare available in a wide variety of widths and lengths, so there’s a “Z” cup for nearly allpanel installations.

Simply attach the wall “Z” clip (A) to wall surface (B) and drop in the factory attached panel clip (C) and panel assembly (D).
