He obtained his five year classical “diploma” from the Con- servatory of Ferrara. A Canadian with Italian origins, a saxophonist with exceptional qualities, greatly appreciated soloist in the jazz scene, a highly esteemed professional at international levels and extraordinary teacher, ROBERT BONISOLO studied music at Berklee College of Music and The Banff School of Fine Arts. In 1987 he won the Canadian Rising Star Award” and the “American Rising Star Award”. He has studied and performed with some of the best musicians in the world:

TEACHING: another aspect which makes him special is the ability to transmit his knowledge and expe-

rience, through his personal approach of teaching music to the students, of the numerous schools and/or

clinics he gives.

Since 2003 he has been Professor of saxophone and improvisation at the school Centro Didattico Musi-

cale Teatro Danza di Rovereto (TN) - Italy

Since 2006 he has been Professor of saxophone and improvisation at the school Conservatoire du Lau-

sanne in Switzerland and the International Saxophone Festival in Faenza (Ravenna - Italy)

He has recorded dozens of records as a sideman, and in 2008

his debut record as a leader will finally come out.

He has performed in numerous International Jazz Festivals.
