The Grade 12 Program
Grade 10-12• 80 credits required for Graduation • 48 credits are Required Courses• 4 Credits – Grad Transition

Rockridge Only Scholarships
To receive a Rockridge Scholarship, you must have excellent attendance, document school service, be in good standing, and be enrolled in 8 courses including Grad Transitions. Six courses must be graded courses. Blended learning included.
Term 2 marks are used for Gold Cords at Commencement: (Honour Roll or Honours With Distinction)
Dogwood District Authority Awards
• Purpose: Recognize Excellence in Chosen Specialty / Field
• Eligibility & Criteria:
– Fine Arts – Applied Skills – Physical Activity – Second Languages
• $500 award & $500 PSI tuition voucher
• Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Applications due April 15th to RR
Provincial Scholarship
• New Name: Grade 12 Grad Program Exam Scholarship
• Purpose: Recognize Academic Achievement on Provincial Exams
• Eligibility & Criteria:
– Must earn at least a “B” in Eng or Comm 12
– Based on “best 3 Provincial Exam Scores (86% or higher)”
– Top 5000 students across BC = $1000
– Top 20 students = $2500
APCourses & Provincial Scholarships
$1,000 Provincial Scholarship= 3 provincial exam marks over 86%
AP mark of 5 =96% AP mark of 4 = 86%
If a student gets a 4 or 5 in any AP course it counts equal to a provincial exam.
This includes ART and CALCULUS which do not have provincial exams.

Biology 84%
Math 90%
AP Calculus 4 =86% or AP Art 5 = 96%

A Success Story
• At Commencement 2009, our Grads received 75 scholarships:
a $49,000 value– many were funded by the Rockridge
Scholarship Committee and other community sources
– In addition, many students received entrance scholarships and private scholarships.
