CHAMPS of CHAMPSThe Magazine

The Grand Champs series as a follow up to Street Jams has pro-vided an opportunity for youth who have learnt various dance styles to showcase what they have learnt. The way in which com-munities have bonded together and rallied behind local talent from the respective communities has come to be a common staple of the Grand Champs series. The Grand Champs series has also provided the champions of the regional Grand Champs getting the opportunity to compete at the main event Champs of Champs which is seen not only as an op-portunity to represent your com-munity but also to become the Champ of Champs. The Grand Champs series thus is not just a competition but an extension from community outreach as well as promoting community support of street dance culture and the talent of youth.
