vacation gives you the pleasure you need so that you don’t have to think of any problems

back at school. Visit all the places you have always wanted to, go and enjoy great moments

each day to the fullest. enjoy the countryside, go to the beach, go shopping, enjoy! Rest is not

idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under the trees on a summer’s day, listening to the

murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the blue sky, is by no means waste of

Holiday homework should be well labelled and submitted in the first week after

summer vacation. All the given worksheets to be pasted in the project file. Use coloured sheets to make your holiday homework file. Make a nice cover. Use

your imagination and creativity.

Write any interesting story in short related to the origin of any one major river of

India. For example- River Ganga.

Write the story on a ruled A4 size paper and illustrate it with pictures of the river.

Mathematics project work

Collect the data of length of 5 major rivers of India (in metres) and write them in

words according to the Indian and International numeration system, after putting

commas accordingly on an A4 size sheet.

1 LIFE AROUND OASIS - Make a model of an oasis. You may show the following-

(1) agriculture (2) livelihood (3) culture of the people living around the oasis.

2. RAIN WATER HARVESTING IN RAJASTHAN- Make a model of Rain Water

Harvesting used in the houses or workplaces of Rajasthan.

3. Design a Travel Brochure of Rajasthan. You may prepare the brochure on places of

Rajasthan- like Travel Brochure on Jaisalmer, Udaipur or Mount Abu

4. On a physical map of India mark the following-
