SAILWith RS facing, join A with sl st to 6th sc of last row.1st row: Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp as last sl st. 1 sc in each of next 20 sc. Turn. Leave rem sts unworked.

2nd row: Ch 1. Draw up a loop in each of next 2 sts. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook - sc2tog made. 1 sc in each sc to last 2 sts. Sc2tog. Turn. 3rd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc across. Turn.4th to 19th rows: Rep 2nd and 3rd rows 8 times more. 3 sts.20th row: Ch 1. Sc2tog. 1 sc in next st. Turn. 2 sts.21st row: Ch 1. Sc2tog. Fasten off.

FLAGJoin B with sl st to base of Sail at center above Boat. (See ‘1’ at base of red dots on Diagram 1). 1st row: Work 1 sl st around each row to top of Sail. Ch 5. LIFE PRESERVERWith B, ch 5. (See Diagram 2 on page 2). Join with sl st in first ch to form ring.1st rnd: Ch 1. 12 sc in ring. Join with sl st to first sc.2nd rnd: Ch 1. (1 sc in next sc. 2 sc in next sc) 6 times. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.With A, sew Life Preserver to Boat as shown in picture.
