User Count

The ProxyOne subscription must be purchased to match the number of users in your organization, including any remote users.ProxyOne enforces the user-count on an instantaneous, concurrent basis. When the active user count exceeds the licensed limit of the ProxyOne, the appliance will queue, or delay new users until another user closes their Internet connections. The administrator can choose to bypass, without protection, users above the licensed limit. Bypassed users remain unprotected and no reporting data will be logged about them for the duration of their connections.

Bandwidth

ProxyOne is designed to protect the primary protocols used on the Web - HTTP/HTTPS for Web Pages, FTP for file transfers and RTSP for streaming media. Data on these protocols will receive full protection, filtering and reporting from the ProxyOne appliance.For in-path deployments, all other traffic (ie. VoIP, Skype™) is passed through with minimal inspection costs to the appliance, thus the total bandwidth supported is much greater than proxied bandwidth.

Reporting

The ProxyOne subscription includes on-box reporting that provides the capability to “drill down” to full transaction details.Due to the storage space required this feature is limited to 100 days of history. Statistical reporting of traffic types and data totals is retained for a year.
