MEET & GREET OPERA STARS!
Young participants are invited to dress up as Aschenputtel for La Cenerentola or as a ballet dancer for Giselle or Coppélia.
In the course of a make-up workshop from 11:00 am, make-up artists from the Vienna State Opera are ready to apply professional make-up on all those children interested in looking like a theater star themselves. Photos will be taken of the kids that they can take home after the Salon Opéra performance.
The singers of the Vienna State Opera ensemble will sing famous arias live from these popular operas and give an insight into their work onstage. The young audience will have the opportunity to experience many aspects of an opera production.
The playfulness, fun and excitement of this Salon Opéra will fascinate both young and old.
Die jungen Teilnehmer sind eingeladen, kostümiert zu kommen. Als Aschenputtel bei La Cenerentola oder als BalletttänzerIn bei Giselle oder Coppélia.
Alle, die gerne einmal wie ein echter Bühnenstar aussehen möchten, können sich zu Beginn, ab 11.00 Uhr, im Rahmen eines Schminkworkshops von Maskenbild-nerinnen der Wiener Staatsoper professio-nell schminken und anschließend fotogra-fieren lassen. Das Erinnerungsfoto können sie am Ende des Salon Opéra nach Hause mitnehmen.
Sängerinnen und Sänger des Ensembles der Wiener Staatsoper werden berühmte Arien live aus diesen beliebten Opern singen und Einbli-cke in ihre Arbeit auf der Bühne geben. Das junge Publikum hat die Gelegenheit eine Opernproduktion auf vielfältige Art zu erleben.
Spiel, Spaß und Spannung werden bei diesen Salon Opéras Jung und Alt begeistern!
Das Dorfmädchen Giselle wird vom als Bauer verkleideten Herzog Albrecht verführt und stirbt an gebrochenem Herzen als sie die Täuschung durchschaut.
The village girl Giselle is seduced by Duke Albrecht disguised as a farmer. She dies of a broken heart when she discovers this deception.

The doll maker Coppélius is a familiar figure from Offenbach’s opera “Les Contes d’Hoffmann”, and the amorous entanglements in Delibes’ ballet are also caused by a doll.

Die böse Magierin Ortrud hat den jungen Herzog Gottfried, Elsas Bruder, in einen Schwan verwan-delt.
