Degree Planning Resources

IMPORTANT DEGREE POLICIES A maximum of 4 credits each count toward 120:

MUS “0” level courses

SPH-I (formerly HPER-E) courses

Required SLST-T 101 courses must be completed prior to courses that require SLST as a prereq-

uisite (ENG-W 131, BUS-C 104, BUS-C 204); these credits do not count toward the 120 credits re-

quired for graduation.

International transfer credits do NOT count for required BUS courses (except if

taken during an approved study abroad program).

Required courses must be taken in classrooms or virtual classrooms, within a semester frame-

work.

The final 30 credits of the degree must be taken at IUB or in an approved study

abroad program.

A maximum of 6 supplemental credits may be taken in a self-paced online, independent study,

or correspondence format.

All 300/400 level BUS courses must be taken at IUB. NO required courses may be taken in a self-paced, independent study format.
