Page 28: SAOA VOLLEYBALL TRAINING ILLEGAL ALLIGNMENT

Serve Situation #1The RF & the CF on the receiving team are overlapping at the moment of serve. The R2 blows the whistle and signals illegal alignment. At the moment of contact for serve, the line judge signals foot fault and informs the R1 that the server stepped on the line. The R1 did not see the foot fault, because the R1 was watching for illegal alignment by the setter.

What should the call be?_____ Foot Fault by server _____ Illegal alignment by receiving team_____ Replay

The coach informed the R1 that player #5 had rotated to the front row. After taking a closer look, the R1 realizes that the coach is correct.
