Itinerary:

Get started: Take the night train from Hanoi Railway Station to Laocai Station. Sleep on the train.

Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa - Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan - Ban Ho

05h30: Arrive in Laocai early in the morning. Bus to Sapa, and breakfas

09h30: Leave from Sapa by car ride along Muong Hoa valley to visit Ta Van village (H’Mong and Day minority)

10h00: Start walking from Tavan to see the Red Dzao in Giang Ta Chai village by way of terraced paddy fields and bamboo forests. Enjoy the natural beauty of Silver Waterfall and Rattan Bridge. Cross the river and continue going to Ban Ho village where the Tay people settle down. On the way to BanHo, there is more chance to see the Red Dzao and the Black H’mong in Supan village.

15h30: Arrive in Ban Ho and spend the night at a Tay Family (Picnic lunch on the way and dinner at the home-stay)

Day 2: Ban Ho - Nam Toong - Su Pan - Sapa

08h00: Breakfast with the family

09h30: Leave the village for a waterfall discovered by French people. Enjoy the view, swimming and walk uphill to a smallest and almost untouched village of the Red Dzao (Nam Toong) return to Ban Ho village. Say goodbye to the family and get up to the main road.
